Hi there, I'm Nicole. I am an LCSW with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of Social Work. My passion is empowering individuals to compassionately love themselves. Self Care and Self Love are the cornerstones that rebuild the fragmented foundations, complex experiences, and the overwhelm of adulting. Many of my clients come to me because they desire to stop the current turbulence however they stay long-term as the exploration of who they are, yields great rewards. I help people from all walks of life who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life. Every story is different. Every voice in the story is too. I help clients learn their own voice and how to trust it. We do this together. I incorporate knowledge, skills, and intuition into each session. My current clinical focus is bridging the gap between mind and body. You may feel the urgency and pressure to feel better or to feel like yourself again. I get it. During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other to build a rapport. The therapeutic relationship is very important.
My current clinical focus is bridging the gap between mind and body. I am trained in CBT, EMDR, and Interpersonal Neurobiology. I am currently training in Somatic Parts Work, Meditation and will soon begin yoga teacher training. While this may seem impressive, I do not lead with any specific model or theory. Our sessions focus on you and what you are comfortable with revealing about your inner turbulence. There's no rush and I do not rip off your bandaids. We walk through the process together and I will use specific models as appropriate but all are woven into the discussions.
My favorite niche is self-care and self-love. I believe these are the cornerstones to rebuilding our foundations from histories of abuse, neglect, trauma, and overwhelm. Self-care is just not the thing that you do, it's the space that you create to attune to your self-love. It helps to create safety, builds your ecosystem of wellness, and supports you during difficult exploration of your past. This is not a one size fits but its unique, specific, and designed by you.
