Hello! I'm Hannah. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Virginia. I received my Master's in Counseling and Human Development from Radford University and have been practicing for 6 years. I enjoy assisting people from all walks of life in achieving their therapy goals. Every client is different, so I take an eclectic approach to therapy to tailor it to the individual's needs. Please note that the time you book your appointment for will be the time that we will meet on a weekly basis as my schedule is fairly full.
Our first session will serve as a brief get-to-know-you session to talk about what has brought you to therapy in order to tailor your treatment plan to best serve you. If you're able to complete your intake paperwork prior to our session, our first session can look more like a conversation about what brings you to therapy and what you would like to work on, rather than a questionnaire-style format.
My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. By combining empathetic listening with evidence-based techniques, I build strong therapeutic relationships that foster trust and openness, helping clients navigate challenges and achieve meaningful growth. I have a dedication to lifelong learning which helps me find new techniques to best to help my clients.
I'm well-versed in helping neurodivergent clients find ways to improve everyday functioning and develop skills to function in a world designed for neurotypicals. I have experience working with clients with autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, panic disorders and trauma.

It was easy to just talk to her about stuff. She felt like a friend.

I feel like Hannah stood out to me because it feels like she'll have a better understanding of where I'm coming from and it's always nice being able to relate, to know you're not alone, but also to know what you need to work on and striving to do so. :)
