New to Grow
I’m a neurodivergent counselor who works with people navigating the messy, beautiful, confusing journey of rediscovering their authentic selves. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to unlearn old stories, question old systems, and reconnect with parts of yourself that were pushed aside for years. My role isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to walk with you as you unravel those layers, find what’s true for you, and build a life that actually feels like yours. What I believe: I believe healing is not about becoming someone new—it’s about returning to yourself. I believe trauma isn’t a personal failing; it’s the residue of environments that didn’t protect you. I believe everyone deserves to feel safe in their body and connected to community. And I believe that you already have everything you need to heal; therapy is simply the place where you’re finally allowed to access it.
As a fellow neurodivergent person, I know that traditional therapy spaces haven’t always felt accessible or affirming. In our work together, your communication style, sensory needs, processing time, and embodied experience aren’t just welcomed—they’re respected and centered. There’s room for your pauses, your tangents, your intensity, your softness, your humor, your grief, your joy. This is a space where you don’t have to mask, minimize, or translate yourself. In our first session, we will review your initial goals, I will begin learning more about what brings you to our meeting, and we will begin digging in to the past so that I may better understand your perspective and your world. You will also have the opportunity to ask me any questions about the therapeutic process and help me understand what I can do to make our time together more comfortable for you.
My primary modalities are EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Both approaches honor the wisdom your body carries and the protective parts of you that have worked so hard for so long. In our work, we move at a pace that feels right for you. We listen to the parts of you that are scared, tired, hopeful, angry, protective, or unsure—and we help them find safety and connection. We work gently but deeply, supporting your nervous system as you heal, integrate, and grow.
Many of my clients come to me feeling disconnected from their authentic selves, exhausted by masking, and unsure how to feel safe—in their own bodies, in relationships, or in community. If this is you, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this process without support. If you’re seeking a therapist who understands neurodivergence, honors your lived experience, and helps you build real, embodied safety—not just coping skills—I’d love to connect. You deserve to feel whole. You deserve to feel safe. And you don’t have to do it alone.
I am EMDR Trained for 5 years and is most trusted form of therapy. Sometimes painful beliefs, emotions, and memories can cause us to feel stuck or trapped. EMDR helps release these by allowing our true selves to have corrective experiences and form new neural pathways to more healthy beliefs.
How well a person was supported and validated through a difficult event determines whether it is experienced as trauma. Often trauma is the result of a lifetime of psychological invalidation and/or abuse. Understanding how trauma is stored in the body and rewires our neurobiology is crucial in not only helping a person heal, but to ensure the person is not being re-traumatized by their helper.
