Hi, I’m Cary, a Licensed Professional Counselor helping individuals heal from attachment wounds, trauma, and betrayal. I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, low self-worth, people-pleasing, boundaries, and repeating painful relationship patterns. Together, we uncover the experiences that shaped these patterns, heal emotional wounds, and build healthier relationships rooted in trust, confidence, and emotional security. My compassionate, attachment-based, and trauma-informed approach supports lasting healing and meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to understand what brings you to therapy and what you hope to get out of our work together. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, history, and relationships, while also making space for you to share at a pace that feels comfortable. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and goals for therapy. My priority is that you leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we can move forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a warm, grounded, and collaborative presence to my work. Clients often share that they feel safe, understood, and able to be fully themselves in sessions with me. I balance deep emotional attunement with practical structure, helping you make sense of your patterns while also building tools for real change. My approach integrates trauma informed care and attachment-based therapy to support both emotional healing and lasting behavioral shifts.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is an approach that focuses on finding unhelpful patterns in thinking and behaviors. It is based on the premise that our thoughts influence our feelings and actions. CBT is helpful for people to address emotional challenges and improve their quality of life.

Strength-Based

Strengths-based therapy focuses on an individual's existing resources, resilience, and positive qualities improving mindset and personal worldview. This approach empowers individuals to overcome personal barriers to be an agent of change.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered therapy creates a space for an individual to use their own understanding of their experiences as a platform for healing. This approach can benefit people who seek to gain more self-confidence, a stronger sense of identity or authenticity, greater success in establishing interpersonal relationships, and more trust in their own decisions.

Cary was very attentive, understanding and honest of what I was needing in a therapist. She let me know what she could and could not help me with and helped me to decide what I wanted to do. She was amazing.
