Hello! I'm an LPC with about nine years of experience and a focus in existential meaning-centered logotherapy, based in Tempe, AZ. I received my degrees from ASU and Argosy University, and since then, I've been dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges and finding deeper meaning and purpose. In my private practice, I aim to provide support for clients on their journey towards self-discovery, growth, and creating a life worth living.
During the first session, my hope is to provide a warm and welcoming environment where clients can openly share their goals and concerns. I will take the time to get to know them, asking questions to understand their background, current challenges, and what they hope to achieve in therapy.
As a provider, I believe my greatest strengths lie in my empathetic approach, my understanding of existential meaning-centered logotherapy, my ability to create a safe and supportive space, and my passion for empowering clients to live meaningful and authentic lives.
As an Existential Logotherapist, I integrate existential principles and logotherapy. My approach emphasizes the search for meaning and a supportive space to explore existential concerns, fundamental life questions, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth.
Drawing from my experience and training, I include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients with cognitive restructuring and understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, developing coping skills, and problem-solving strategies.
As a practitioner of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I use DBT's core principles and techniques to help clients cultivate mindfulness, regulate emotions, improve interpersonal effectiveness, and develop distress tolerance skills.
Drawing upon my training and experience in SFBT, I help clients in identifying their strengths, resources, and solutions. And through collaborative and goal-oriented conversations, we envision desired futures, clarify objectives, and identify actionable steps to move towards preferred outcomes.
As a counselor with experience in Motivational Interviewing (MI), I help clients with building intrinsic motivation for change, exploring values, goals, and aspirations, while also acknowledging the challenges and obstacles they may face along the way.
