I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, and major life transitions. My work is grounded, relational, and deeply attuned to the nervous system, with a focus on helping people feel safer in their bodies, clearer in their minds, and more connected to themselves and others. I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy, meaning I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Instead, I draw from relational, psychodynamic, somatic, and polyvagal-informed frameworks to tailor therapy to your unique history, strengths, and goals. For many clients, our work involves understanding emotional patterns, healing the impact of past experiences, and learning practical ways to regulate stress and overwhelm in daily life. A central part of my work is creating a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I move at a pace that respects your readiness and capacity, especially if you’ve experienced trauma, medical challenges, or long-standing stress. Alongside deeper insight work, I often incorporate psychoeducation and concrete tools so therapy feels both meaningful and useful beyond the session. Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and deeply present. My goal is not to “fix” you- I fundamentally believe that you're not broken ( and we haven't even met yet). My job is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your inner resources, and build a life that feels more regulated, connected, and aligned. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and begin meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to get out of our work together. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your history, stressors, and strengths, while also paying attention to how your nervous system responds in the moment. You don’t need to prepare anything or share more than feels comfortable we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to be both direct and compassionate. I’m honest, clear, and willing to name patterns that may be keeping you stuck while doing so in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming. I believe insight is most helpful when it’s paired with warmth and real human connection. I also bring appropriate humor into the therapy room when it’s helpful. Laughter can create relief, perspective, and a sense of shared humanity, especially when working through heavy or complex topics. Clients often tell me that sessions feel grounding, real, and surprisingly lighter, even when we’re doing deep work. My approach helps clients gain clarity, regulate their nervous systems, and make meaningful changes that actually carry into their daily lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to work with clients who are thoughtful, self-reflective, and ready to understand themselves more deeply, even if they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. Many of the people I work with experience anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, or the emotional impact of long-term medical or life challenges. Others come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, their bodies, or their relationships and want support in creating meaningful change. My ideal clients often describe feeling “on edge,” emotionally exhausted, or caught in patterns they intellectually understand but struggle to shift. You may be highly capable on the outside while feeling anxious, dysregulated, or self-critical internally. Some clients are navigating the aftermath of trauma, loss, or major transitions, while others are managing the ongoing demands of chronic illness, caregiving, or high-pressure roles. I work well with clients who want therapy to be both compassionate and substantive. If you’re interested in understanding how past experiences shape present-day emotions, relationships, and nervous system responses, and you also want practical tools to feel more grounded and resilient, my approach may be a good fit. I especially enjoy working with clients who value collaboration and are open to therapy that integrates emotional insight, body-based awareness, and real-world application. I may not be the best fit for those seeking a strictly short-term, manualized approach or quick symptom elimination without deeper exploration. My work is most helpful for clients who want therapy to feel thoughtful, personalized, and paced in a way that supports lasting change, increased self-trust, and a stronger sense of connection to themselves and their lives.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, meaning I tailor therapy to each person’s unique emotional, relational, and nervous system needs. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, trauma, and chronic stress, and I focus on helping clients feel safer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves. I also incorporate practical tools and psychoeducation to help clients better understand their emotional patterns and build resilience in daily life.

Integrative

I practice integrative therapy, meaning I draw from multiple evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. I combine insight-oriented, relational, and somatic work to address both emotional patterns and nervous system regulation. This flexible approach allows therapy to feel personalized, supportive, and effective rather than one-size-fits-all.
