Hi, I'm, Zach. Life has many different roads, avenues, and detours, but the way you find your destination is up to you. Therefore, my goal is to empower my clients to map out effective responses to their environment and situations to promote successful outcomes. I’ve worked in group homes, school settings, office settings, and community settings with children, adolescents, and adults. I understand that overcoming mental health issues is a collaboration and not a one-sided interaction. I believe that everyone’s emotional, mental, and physical health matters. As an eclectic therapist, striking a balance between working with evidence-based theories and individual preferences is supremely important. I’m available for individual and family sessions and I want to help you find what makes you feel inner peace and your purpose in life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My intake process involves explaining how therapy can be a supportive technique for anyone that is open to change and challenging themselves. I explain my expectations for communication, attendance, client privileges, and confidentiality. Although I don't usually assign homework, I often try to individualize my approach to the person I'm helping. I believe keeping an open mind and ear are important for both sides of the therapeutic interaction. I maintain that the therapeutic process is helped when those I aid are able to understand that perfection is not the objective, but that aiming toward being a more well-rounded individual is the goal.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My extensive work with clients is comprised of managing anxiety disorders, depression disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and numerous other personality and mood disorders. My therapeutic techniques include person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based therapy, and reality therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I can successfully work with many individuals. The population that I work best with are people that are open to change and challenging themselves.
