Welcome! I look forward to working with you. I have had the opportunity to work with children and adults for over 20 years and enjoy being able to walk with you through your therapeutic journey. I mainly use Cognitive behavioral therapy and emotional therapy; the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for the work that I will do. If you are looking to address stress and reduce symptoms, my practice is one of acceptance. My/our time together is free of judgment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I like to create a safe environment where clients can be themselves and feel accepted. I enjoy listening and being able to help others. In our first session, clients should expect a comfortable and safe environment where they can be their authentic selves. I'll ask about your background, history, and what brings you into therapy. If you think we might be a good fit, I encourage you to reach out today.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I use an eclectic approach with elements of DBT, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strengths-based therapy to help my clients meet their individual goals.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with clients of all ages who seek help with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, grief/loss, and relationship conflicts, among others.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, many of my clients have issues like PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other concerns. Some might find it difficult to concentrate. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques are effective in challenging and changing negative thought patterns. Techniques like cognitive restructuring help in identifying and reframing irrational beliefs and assumptions.
