Hi, I'm Steve. Do you ever find yourself stuck in the daily grind to the point that you cannot even enjoy your life? Many of us find ourselves in that exact spot. Between relationship woes, childhood trauma, dealing with the fear and limitations of this pandemic, and even stress at work, we can end up feeling hopeless, worried, and even powerless. But it doesn't have to be this way. It is possible to find peace and freedom from the weight of the things holding you back from enjoying your life to its fullest. I provide a safe place where you can be open and express yourself without fear of judgment. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with an MA, I work with age groups from young teens to aging adults, helping you to unlock the situations that are not allowing you to enjoy your life. No matter your age, it is possible that childhood trauma and experiences can impact you throughout your life. By addressing these issues, you can allow yourself the freedom to experience the best the world has to offer. There is no reason for you to remain stuck in your present situation when hope is on the horizon. Let's work together to find the peace and freedom you deserve. Reach out, and let's start this journey together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will consist of getting to know one another and establishing the parameters for our sessions together. I will ask a lot of questions about you and your background so we can have discussions about where you want to go in the therapy process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In addition to serving in the Army for twenty years, I am also a semi-retired minister. These attributes allow me to help on several fronts and give people the help they need.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am a retired veteran of the US Army. I I specialize in areas such as anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, military and veteran support, PTSD, spirituality, grief and bereavement, stress, and trauma. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other issues, allow me to actively listen, teach important skills, and build on your strengths so you can get unstuck and live the life you are truly worthy of.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a goal-oriented method of treatment. It uses a structured approach that focuses on the present and teaches practical skills to manage problems and improve overall mental health.
