I’m Tasha Moore, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Georgia’s Coastal Empire region, offering telehealth services statewide. With over a decade of experience in social services and a focused practice in therapy since 2020, I work with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including trauma, chronic illness, and major life transitions—particularly following inpatient discharge. My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion and collaboration. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other trauma-informed practices to support clients in processing their experiences and moving toward healing. Originally from Macon, GA, and now living in Savannah, I’m also a mother of three and deeply committed to helping people feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether you're working through past trauma, managing chronic stress, or seeking stability after inpatient care, I’m here to support your journey with empathy and clinical expertise.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me will be a chance for us to get to know each other. It’s an opportunity for you to share a bit about yourself, and for me to understand what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping to get out of it. It’s also a space for you to ask questions — about me, about the therapy process, or about anything that will help you feel more comfortable and confident in starting this journey. My goal is for you to leave this first session feeling heard, supported, and more at ease about the path we’ll walk together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am an upfront, empathetic professional who believes in both supporting and challenging you to become the best version of yourself. My approach is rooted in compassion, understanding, and a genuine desire to help you grow. At the same time, I won’t shy away from encouraging you to confront the emotions or patterns that may be holding you back. With this balance of warmth and directness, I create a space where you can feel safe to open up, and also inspired to do the hard, meaningful work that leads to lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My goal as your therapist to help individuals, families, and couples learn to work together effectively to overcome life's obstacles. I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and personal growth. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and life challenges. Whether you're facing anxiety, relationship issues, or seeking greater self-awareness, my goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with tools for lasting change.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is my chosen form of therapy because it empowers you to become the conductor of your own life — to move to the beat of your own drum, free from internal and external distractions. This approach allows you to build a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behavior patterns, making space for true self‑leadership and healing.

EMDR

I have worked extensively with individuals who have experienced trauma, both in outpatient and inpatient settings. I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and other forms of bilateral stimulation to help clients safely and effectively process traumatic memories — especially when verbal expression feels too overwhelming. In situations where EMDR may not be the best fit initially, I draw from other trauma‑informed techniques to support the early stages of processing

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I use this trauma‑focused method to support individuals who struggle with verbal expression of their traumatic experiences. It allows for a safe and effective way to begin processing when EMDR might not be the best fit initially, helping lay the groundwork for deeper healing later on.

Family Therapy

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I recognize the profound impact that family dynamics have on how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world. I work with families to improve communication, break generational patterns, and deepen emotional understanding. My goal is to help families foster connections that honor each person’s needs and create a foundation for long‑term resilience and growth.
