Hi, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with experience working in a variety of diverse settings. I provide compassionate, culturally responsive therapy to individuals from all walks of life, with a focus on supporting women, young adults, BIPOC individuals, and first-generation Americans. I understand the unique challenges that come with navigating identity, relationships, and life transitions—and I’m here to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered. Together, we’ll work toward healing, clarity, and lasting change so you can thrive on your own terms.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a safe, welcoming space where we’ll get to know each other. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and discuss any questions or concerns you have about the process. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with—we’ll move at your pace. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, and respected as we begin this journey together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a psychotherapist, I specialize in creating safe, supportive spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and deeply understood. My approach is rooted in active listening, empathy, and validation—core strengths that help foster healing and growth. I bring a wealth of experience from working in diverse settings, including community mental health, a Sexual Assault Prevention Center, a College Counseling Center, and the Department of Veteran's Affairs. These experiences have equipped me to support individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and emotional overwhelm with compassion and care.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, and women’s issues , codependent relationships and family/childhood trauma. Many of my clients are working to heal family and childhood trauma while balancing cultural expectations and personal growth. My ideal clients are insightful, open to reflection, and ready to explore the deeper roots of their struggles. Together, we focus on building emotional clarity, healthy boundaries, and a stronger connection to self—so they can live more authentically and with greater ease.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

My approach to counseling is integrative, drawing from short-term psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered principles, and positive psychology. I help clients explore the deeper roots of their struggles by exploring childhood, family relationship dynamics, and difficult experiences the client encountered while growing up.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This approach involves equipping them with practical tools to shift thoughts and behaviors. I provide a warm, supportive space that honors each person’s unique story, while fostering resilience, growth, and strengths-based healing.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I provide a warm, supportive space that honors each person’s unique story, while fostering resilience, growth, and strengths-based healing.
