Hi, I’m Alesha and I’m glad you’re reaching out and taking the first step to engage in a therapeutic process where healing and change can occur. My passion is to help others grow in whatever areas they feel are important to them. I believe in being genuine and open, building rapport with my clients and walking with them on their journey in therapy. I believe in creating a safe space where you can feel comfortable to share your thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgment. This is a process that we will navigate together as we build a therapeutic alliance to foster change and growth. I believe in empowering my clients to take control over their lives so that they can live the most fulfilling life possible. Every person, regardless of their mental health struggles, is capable of reaching their full potential. We are a team on your journey, and I will be by your side to support you as you make positive changes in your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will give brief introductions and begin the process of learning what issues are most important to you to work on therapy. This will allow me to understand your goals so that I can work with you in the therapeutic process of change.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with individuals from a diverse background, including ex-offenders, I feel I am able to build strong rapport with my clients so that they feel comfortable to uncover and work on some of their most vulnerable issues.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with individuals who are motivated to make changes in their lives but may feel like they lack the skills and/or self-confidence to do so. I also have extensive experience and a passion for working with marginalized individuals such as ex-offenders to help them uncover their ability to lead a productive life, free from re-offending.
