Hi, I’m Jerica — a licensed mental health counselor who offers therapy as a place to exhale, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. I help clients navigate identity shifts, trauma, burnout, life transitions, LGBTQ+ exploration, and religious deconstruction. I also support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, or general overwhelm. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space that honors your full humanity — not just your symptoms or circumstances. Whether you're processing deep emotional wounds or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I'll meet you where you are with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, collaborative space where we begin to explore what’s bringing you in, what matters to you, and what healing might look like on your terms. I’ll meet you with curiosity, care, and no pressure to have it all figured out.
My greatest strengths as a provider include my attunement to nuance, my ability to hold space for complexity, and my flexible, client-centered approach. Whether you need thoughtful reflection or gentle redirection, I’ll be right there with you — grounded, present, and committed to your growth.
I’m especially well-suited to support clients who are exploring or deconstructing religious beliefs, folks navigating burnout or major life transitions, and anyone doing the deep work of healing trauma. I also work with clients who are simply feeling lost, anxious, or disconnected, and want support in making intentional, values-aligned changes in their lives.
I use Brainspotting to help clients access and process trauma held in the body, allowing for deeper healing beyond verbal insight.
I integrate CBT to support clients in identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and behavior cycles.
I offer gender-affirming care that centers each client’s lived experience and identity, providing a safe space for exploration, validation, and support through transitions.
I draw from IFS to help clients compassionately engage with their internal parts, fostering self-leadership and inner harmony through curiosity and connection.
I approach all of my work through a trauma-informed lens, recognizing the impact of past experiences on present functioning and prioritizing safety, empowerment, and choice in the therapeutic process.
