I believe that effective therapy is built on insight, action, and compassion. I enjoy working with individuals who want better for themselves and are ready to move forward, even if they’re still figuring out where to begin.

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is offering a perspective that helps people see things in new ways—especially those who haven’t found therapy helpful in the past.

In therapy, I focus on building connection and trust, creating a space where you can feel safe to explore what’s really going on without judgment. Together, we’ll look at patterns that keep you feeling stuck and find supportive, practical ways to start shifting them right away—so you can feel more grounded, authentic, and empowered in your life.

First session

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your goals, background, and what’s been feeling difficult lately, while making sure you feel heard and supported. Together, we’ll start creating a plan that feels realistic, safe, and tailored to your needs.

Strengths

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is offering a perspective that helps people see things in new ways—especially those who haven’t found therapy helpful in the past. I combine empathy with direct, transparent feedback to help clients feel both supported and challenged in meaningful ways. My approach is practical, compassionate, and focused on real progress, helping you connect insight to action and create changes that last.

Ideal clients

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. To make sure we’re a great fit and that I can provide the support you’re looking for, please take a moment to read the details below—it covers a lot of common questions about how I work and the structure of our sessions. My therapeutic style is built on active listening, support, and curious, thoughtful questioning. I believe that while I bring the clinical tools, you are the expert on your own life. My goal is to provide a warm, inclusive space where we can look beyond surface-level symptoms together. Whether you are navigating a new stage of life, a high-achiever facing burnout, or someone ready to explore the root causes of feeling 'stuck,' I am here to be a collaborative partner in your healing and growth. I am dedicated to providing a safe, affirming, and celebratory therapeutic environment for those I serve.

Treatment methods

Trauma-Focused CBT

In my practice, I use Trauma-Focused CBT to help clients safely process painful experiences, understand their triggers, and rebuild a sense of safety and self-trust. Through this lens, we look closely at how past trauma may be influencing your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, exploring how your nervous system and mind have adapted to survive. Together, we will identify unhelpful patterns or survival strategies that are no longer serving you, replacing them with adaptive ways of thinking and responding. My approach is practical, personalized, and paced entirely to your comfort—equipping you with concrete regulation skills you can use right away to cultivate daily stability and lasting peace.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients process and release painful or traumatic memories by safely reworking how those experiences are stored in the brain, allowing them to feel calmer, more present, and less controlled by past events. *Please note, I only offer EMDR therapy for clients that I am seeing for talk therapy as well. We can discuss this further in session.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to help clients build emotional regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness skills so they can manage intense feelings, set healthy boundaries, and create more stability and balance in their lives.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients develop greater psychological flexibility by learning to accept difficult emotions, stay present, and take meaningful actions that align with their personal values and goals.

Strength-Based

I take a strength-based approach, helping clients recognize and build on the skills, values, and resilience they already have. Rather than focusing only on what’s “wrong,” I help clients identify what’s working and use those strengths to create meaningful, lasting change.
