I am a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples as they navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and affirming, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood without judgment. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, meaning I meet clients where they are and tailor therapy to their unique needs, goals, and lived experiences. I value authenticity, empathy, and trust as the foundation of the therapeutic relationship. Clients often describe me as warm, supportive, and direct in a way that feels empowering. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, burnout, or major life changes. I also support clients who are balancing multiple roles and responsibilities and may feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure of their next steps. In my work with families and couples, I focus on improving communication, strengthening relationships, and fostering understanding across different perspectives. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and promote self-compassion and resilience. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives. My role is to walk alongside you, help you uncover your strengths, and support you in making meaningful and sustainable changes at your own pace. Therapy with me is a partnership focused on growth, healing, and moving forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. We’ll start by discussing what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and any concerns or questions you may have. There is no pressure to share everything at once—this session moves at a pace that feels right for you. I will ask some questions about your background, current stressors, relationships, and overall well-being to better understand your experiences and goals. We’ll also review confidentiality, boundaries, and what therapy with me looks like so you know what to expect moving forward. Most importantly, the first session is a collaborative conversation. My role is to listen, provide support, and help you feel safe and understood. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps, whether that involves learning coping strategies, improving communication, or gaining clarity around challenges you’re facing. You can expect a nonjudgmental, supportive environment where your experiences are respected. By the end of the session, many clients report feeling relieved, more hopeful, and clearer about how therapy can support them. We will decide together how to proceed and what feels most helpful for your continued care.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. I prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships grounded in trust, empathy, and respect, which allows clients to feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions and experiences. I am highly skilled at meeting clients where they are and tailoring therapy to their individual needs, goals, and lived experiences. My person-centered and trauma-informed approach ensures that clients feel empowered rather than pressured, and that progress happens at a pace that feels sustainable. I balance compassion with honesty, offering thoughtful insight and gentle challenges when appropriate to support growth and change. Another strength is my ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples. I bring cultural awareness, flexibility, and sensitivity into my work, recognizing how identity, culture, and life circumstances shape each client’s experience. Clients often share that they leave sessions feeling clearer, more grounded, and more confident in their ability to cope and make meaningful changes. My focus is not only on symptom relief, but also on helping clients build long-term skills, resilience, and self-awareness that support lasting well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples who are seeking support during times of stress, transition, or emotional overwhelm. I work well with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, or difficulty navigating life changes and responsibilities. Many of my clients feel emotionally drained, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward and are looking for a safe, supportive space to sort through their thoughts and feelings. I am especially well suited to clients who are open to self-reflection and want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and their patterns of behavior. Whether you are seeking relief from distress, improved communication, stronger coping skills, or personal growth, I meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful. I also work well with families and couples who want to strengthen their relationships, improve communication, and develop healthier ways of relating to one another. My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and focused on helping clients build insight, resilience, and confidence. My ideal clients value a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and honesty, and are motivated to engage in the process of healing and growth. Together, we work toward meaningful and sustainable change that supports emotional well-being and long-term balance.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have extensive experience using a person-centered approach in my clinical work, and it serves as a foundational method in my practice. Person-centered therapy emphasizes creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to support them in accessing their strengths, insight, and capacity for growth. In my practice, I use person-centered therapy by prioritizing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity in the therapeutic relationship. I focus on actively listening, validating clients’ experiences, and collaborating at a pace that feels comfortable for them. This approach allows clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life challenges openly, fostering self-awareness and self-acceptance. I often integrate person-centered principles with other evidence-based techniques to meet each client’s unique needs, ensuring therapy is individualized and flexible. Whether clients are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, or relationship concerns, I aim to empower them to develop clarity, confidence, and meaningful change through a trusting therapeutic partnership.
