New to Grow
Hi, I’m Jennifer, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who offers a warm, grounding space for you to explore what’s weighing on your mind and reconnect with your strengths. I help individuals move through anxiety, trauma, circular thinking, and overwhelming life transitions by blending solution-focused tools with somatic and mindfulness practices. My approach is gentle but practical — together, we’ll identify what’s working, understand what’s getting in the way, and create clear, sustainable steps toward feeling more balanced, supported, and yourself again.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what changes you’d like to see. I’ll ask some thoughtful questions to get a clear sense of your goals and how I can support you. By the end of the session, you’ll have a better understanding of our direction and what working together will look like
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I’m skilled at identifying patterns, asking the right questions, and helping clients create practical, realistic steps toward change. My integrative approach — combining solution-focused, somatic, and cognitive methods — helps clients feel both supported and empowered to move forward.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m best positioned to support adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, circular thinking, or unresolved trauma, as well as those navigating complicated family dynamics or major life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful, sensitive, and high-functioning on the outside, yet carrying a great deal internally. They’re looking for a space where they can slow down, feel understood, and start creating practical changes that genuinely lighten their emotional load. If you’re seeking clarity, stability, and a more grounded connection to yourself, I’m here to help you move toward that.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients shift from problem-saturated thinking toward hope, clarity, and possibility. Rather than dwelling on what isn’t working, we focus on small, realistic steps that create immediate improvements. My experience with SFBT allows me to guide clients toward their own strengths and resources so they feel empowered and capable of making lasting change.
Somatic
I use somatic therapy to help clients develop awareness of the mind–body connection and learn how physical sensations relate to emotional and psychological states. My experience includes guiding clients through grounding, breathwork, and strategies that reduce anxiety and promote safety. Somatic interventions are especially effective for clients with trauma histories, chronic stress, or difficulty calming their nervous system.
