Hello! I'm Stephanie Burbridge, and I'm so glad you're here. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a certification in Perinatal Mental Health who specializes in supporting adults through anxiety, pregnancy/postpartum mental health concerns, depression, and major life transitions, such as retirement. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, I strive to create a safe space where you feel truly heard and supported. My goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful changes that lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Many of the young people I work with come to me feeling overwhelmed, unsure of themselves, or stuck between who they are and who they want to be. If you’re dealing with anxiety, self‑esteem, life transition stress, or the pressure of figuring out life on your own terms, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to sort it out by yourself.
I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker‑Supervisor based in Ohio with 30+ years of experience supporting adolescents and young adults. I’ve worked in schools, detention centers, homes, and communities, and I’ve met people from all walks of life-including one family who lived as vampires. No judgment here; people are endlessly interesting, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know who you are and what matters to you.
*Please note that, at this time, I am not accepting clients who are only in need of an evaluation or clients who are mandated by the court for therapeutic services.
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a unique specialization in providing comprehensive care for Neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with ADHD and Autism who are facing mental health challenges. I hold certifications as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider and ADHD Practitioner, focusing on supporting individuals with ADHD, Autism, and co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and adjustment disorder.
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals and couples. My approach is collaborative, warm, and tailored to your unique needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Gottman Method, attachment-based, and other evidence-based approaches. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can gain insight, build practical skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in North Carolina, Ohio, and Alabama. I earned my Master of Social Work degree through the Joint Program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina A&T State University and have spent the past 15 years working in a variety of mental health settings.
As a biracial and bicultural woman of White and Native American heritage and an enrolled member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, I understand the importance of culture, identity, belonging, and lived experience in the healing process.
I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, family conflict, grief, loss, and caregiver burnout. I also have extensive experience working with trauma survivors, including individuals recovering from unhealthy relationships, emotional abuse, religious trauma and domestic violence. While I enjoy working with adults from all backgrounds, I am especially passionate about supporting women as they build confidence, strengthen boundaries, heal from past experiences, and reconnect with their sense of self.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Many clients tell me they appreciate my conversational, down-to-earth style. While therapy can involve discussing difficult topics, I also believe healing can include moments of humor, self-discovery, and recognizing your strengths along the way. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, processing trauma, navigating a major life transition, or working to create healthier relationships, you do not have to face it alone.
I am committed to providing affirming care for individuals who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, bicultural/biracial, neurodivergent, ability-diverse, and those from underrepresented communities.
Hello, I am a therapist and social worker, licensed in Ohio and Tennessee, who strives to help my clients find improved satisfaction with life. I have been working in this field since 2006 both in outpatient and inpatient settings. If you find you are struggling currently with emotions that seem to come from your past, or fears of the future, and are ready to look for some new perspectives, therapy is likely the right place for help.
My focus is on a variety of life issues that impede the unique potential of the individual. These include substance abuse and dependency, Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder, anxiety, depression, and trauma as well as major life events that happen to us all. I works with people from all walks of life including children, couples, and adults. Person centered counseling is not a platform on which one seeks advice or fears being judged, as if “under the microscope”. Rather it is a collaborative conversation based on unconditional positive regard, in which counselor and client journey together towards the client’s realization of meaning and goals.
"My greatest strength is cultivating an atmosphere of deep safety, authenticity, and genuine connection where clients feel fully seen, understood, and unjudged. Clinically, I integrate evidence-based frameworks—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy—with specialized Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to process deep-seated trauma at its root. Furthermore, my specialized training as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) candidate enables me to apply a rigorous, systematic framework to unravel complex behavioral patterns and addiction, offering clients both an empathetic space and a clear, structured roadmap for sustainable recovery."

I have been a licensed social worker for the past 30 years. I have worked in child welfare and at the Veteran's Health Administration, and all of the work I have done has been working with people with anxiety, depression and or trauma. I think I lean as much from the people I work with as much as they learn from me. I believe people can change, people can grow and people are capable of making possible what seems impossible. I am eclectic in my practice, but I lean heavily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma informed, Reality based and Solution Focused treatment.
I am a clinical social worker with a decade of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults through life's most pressing challenges. Before transitioning into clinical practice, I worked within organizations helping employees navigate workplace stress and the broader life issues that often accompany it. My own life transition during that time deepened my appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support, and I now draw on those transferable skills alongside my academic and work experiences as a master's in social work and doctorate in organizational behavior professional. I bring a compassionate, integrative, and culturally responsive approach that meets each client where they are, helping you build meaningful coping skills, deepen self-understanding, and move toward sustainable change.
"Our thoughts become our reality only when we allow them to turn into beliefs." I have been known as the "Self-Empowering" therapist, offering encouragement and giving hope to those in need. My Clinical Specialty Areas: Depression, Anxiety, Holistic Treatment & Christian Counseling.
I am a creative clinician to work with, thus making me open-minded to hearing your story and working at a comfortable pace.

I’m a mental health therapist with more than thirteen years of experience, and my practice is grounded in honoring each client as a whole person. From the moment you enter session, you are respected, appreciated, and offered a space where you can speak freely and disclose only what feels right for you. Safety, dignity, and autonomy guide every part of our work together.
Clinically, I draw from evidenced based approaches such as ERP, CBT, TRAP/TRAC, mindful‑living practices, and intentional space for processing — blending structure with openness so clients can explore both the practical and the deeply personal. My greatest strengths as a therapist are working with individuals struggling with OCD (you don't have to be afraid to speak your intrusive thoughts in my sessions. I am trained to understand the difference of ego dystonic intrusive thoughts that don't align with your true values and beliefs), Panic Attacks, Generalized Anxiety, Depression., aging and life transitions. Individuals struggling with eating disorders will be given referrals for treatment of this disorder.
If chosen by the client, I can also help integrate Christian beliefs into treatment in a way that supports their healing, values, and sense of meaning. My role is to walk alongside you, offering evidence‑based care that aligns with who you are and how you want to grow.
Hello, my name is Ruth McKowen. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker, and I am honored to help people navigate life’s challenges and difficulties. My approach centers on empowering clients to recognize their unique identity, skills, talents, and gifts, while providing the warm support and guidance they need.
Hello, I'm Sherri.
Asking for help is never easy.
Maybe you don’t know if you can ask for help because how can you reach out to someone who might balk when you tell them you’re questioning your faith or just on a nontraditional spiritual path?

This is where I come in.
I’ve been passionate about helping people find peace amid stress and chaos for years. My promise is a safe space for letting your walls and burdens down. Hi, I’m Brittany, an LISW in Ohio, wife, and mom of three with a heart for supporting women through the many seasons and transitions of life. I’m especially passionate about women’s and maternal mental health and creating a space where women feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported.
I’m the founder of Selah Maternal Wellness, a virtual private practice where I work with women navigating anxiety, stress, overwhelm, life transitions, relationships, identity, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and the everyday challenges that come with carrying so many roles.
While maternal mental health holds a special place in my heart, my work is not limited to motherhood. I welcome women in all stages of life who are looking for a space to slow down, reconnect with themselves, build on their strengths, and create meaningful change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and focused on meeting you where you are. I also offer Christian counseling and faith-based therapy for women who would like to incorporate their faith into their healing journey, while always honoring each client’s individual beliefs and preferences.
The name Selah reflects much of what I hope to offer through this work—a moment to pause, reflect, breathe, and reconnect. As women, we can spend so much time caring for everyone and everything around us that we forget we need care, too!
Beyond individual therapy, I offer local workshops and group sessions to help women and moms connect, learn, and build supportive community. I’m also currently working toward my PMH-C certification to deepen my ability to support women throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Whether through individual therapy, faith-based support, workshops, or groups, my hope is for Selah to be a place where women can pause, feel supported, reconnect with who they are, and know they don’t have to navigate life alone.
Welcome! Providing 100% virtual therapy statewide across Ohio.
If you are feeling overwhelmed by life transitions, stuck in frustrating relationship patterns, or carrying the heavy weight of stress, you are not alone. My practice is your safe haven to explore, process, and build lasting resilience. Together, we will create a mental sanctity where you are fully heard, supported, and empowered to reclaim your autonomy.

Hey there! :)
I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory distinction (LISW-S) based in central Ohio. I earned my MSW from The Ohio State University and have spent the past decade doing what I love most—helping people heal, grow, and thrive.
My journey began as a trauma specialist working with children in Treatment Foster Care and adoption in inner-city Columbus. At the same time, I supported children, young adults, and families in Worthington, Ohio, helping them find balance and connection in their daily lives. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for supporting parents—especially those navigating the emotional waves of infertility, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and the beautifully complex world of parenting.
These experiences sparked a deep commitment to working with women to identify their strengths, overcome barriers, and step fully into their potential. I find so much joy in connecting with people from all walks of life, and I've had the privilege of working in urban, suburban, and rural communities. My current practice—and my roots—are in the beautiful Appalachian foothills of Ohio.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a proud animal lover, plant enthusiast, and people-person through and through. I believe in the power of humor, honesty, and human connection—and I’m here to walk alongside you, wherever you are in your journey.
