Hi, I’m a clinical social worker with a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment for anxiety disorders, including OCD, panic, and generalized anxiety. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which are gold-standard approaches for helping people break free from patterns of fear, avoidance, and compulsive behaviors. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you face what feels overwhelming—at a pace that feels manageable—so you can build confidence, reduce anxiety, and reclaim your life.
In our first session, you can expect a thoughtful, down-to-earth conversation where we explore what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I’ll ask some questions to get a fuller picture of your experiences—especially around anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or compulsive behaviors—but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. We’ll talk about how I work, answer any questions you have about the therapy process, and begin shaping a plan that feels supportive and manageable. Most importantly, my goal is for you to leave the session feeling seen, respected, and hopeful about what’s possible.
I’d say my greatest strengths as a provider are blending solid, evidence-based approaches—like CBT and ERP—with warmth, authenticity, and a good sense of humor. Working through anxiety, OCD, or intrusive thoughts can be intense, so I believe it’s important to create a space where things feel grounded, approachable, and even a little lighter when appropriate. I aim to be both a steady guide and a relatable human—someone who can help you face hard things without it feeling clinical or cold. Clients often tell me they appreciate that balance: practical tools, honest conversations, and the occasional well-timed laugh that reminds us we’re in this together.
I work best with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, or intrusive thoughts—especially those who feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, avoidance, or compulsive behaviors. Many of my clients are high-functioning but overwhelmed, often feeling like their worries are running the show. Whether you're navigating constant mental loops, panic, or fears that don’t make sense but feel very real, I offer a structured, compassionate approach to help you regain a sense of control. If you’re ready to face what’s been holding you back—with support and practical tools—I’m here to help.
I have obtained post graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Beck Institute. I use this as a cornerstone for my clinical practice because I believe that the recognition of how our thoughts lead to feelings and action can prompt so much insight in the client.
I have been trained in providing ERP for Obsessive Compulsive disorder. ERP is the gold standard for treatment when it pertains to OCD. The practice of ERP is challenging but effective as it prompts the client to recognize common core fears and confront them rather than engage in compulsive responses that only perpetuate the OCD cycle.
