Over the years, I've worked across diverse community settings, including Home-Based Services, hospitals, outpatient, PHP, residential, and virtual environments. My experience spans working with children, teens, adults, and older adults (geriatric population) facing challenges such as homelessness, alcohol and drug addiction, COVID-19, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, depression, and more.
I understand that you may be going through a difficult time. Life brings many challenges that can cause one to feel anxiety, stress, worry, and doubt. Does this sound like you? I want you to know that I can empower you with the tools of success.
Welcome, and come as you are. I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding yourself on a deeper level. Many of the struggles we experience in adulthood, whether in relationships, self-worth, anxiety, trauma, communication, or life satisfaction, are shaped by patterns that developed long before we were aware of them. My role is to help you identify those patterns, understand why they exist, and create lasting change rather than simply managing symptoms.
Deciding to seek support through counseling takes courage, and the process of finding the right therapist can be intimidating. Building a trusting relationship with a therapist can take time and I understand how difficult it can be to be vulnerable.
My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and Humanistic, focussed on building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, safety, empathy, and compassion. I utilize evidence-based methods such as CBT, CFT, mindfulness-based interventions, breath work, somatic psychotherapy, and EMDR.
Whether you are looking for a safe space to talk through current stressors, or dig deeper to process past trauma, I hope to provide a safe and nurturing space, collaborating with you on your journey of healing and personal growth.
Your story is unique and you deserve an individualized approach to care, where you feel safe and heard. I believe you are the expert in your life experiences and we will work together to develop goals and strengths to improve your overall quality of life. Our sessions will be centered around a holistic approach that aligns with your personal strengths, needs, abilities and preferences to meet your goals and build self worth, while navigating difficult emotions, relationships, anxiety, trauma and decreasing depressive symptoms

I also use a solution-focused approach, which means we’ll focus on your strengths, celebrate what’s working, and create small, realistic steps that bring real progress.

My approach is supportive and empowering. I want you to feel heard, encouraged, and equipped with the tools to handle life’s challenges with more confidence and hope.

Being on my own life journey, it is easy to resonate with your struggles and appreciate your reaching out. Fear, doubt, and anxiety/depression are often apart of this life and it is important to connect with others in order to address them when they become stuck places. Then, they become the fuel for your better way forward. This has been true for me having experienced mental illness within my family growing up and therefore I feel confident that I can help you with your unique self and life.
I’m a husband and dad to three boys (ages 16, 13 and 8), and family is a huge part of my life. We live on a 20-acre homestead where we raise chickens, goats, pigs, and cows, and we spend a lot of time in the garden. Life on the farm keeps me grounded and reminds me daily of the value of patience, hard work, and slowing down to enjoy what really matters. Faith and community are also central for me. I’m actively involved in my church, and I see my work as an extension of that calling to walk alongside others.
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial streak. Alongside my therapy work, I am starting a tech start-up, I’ve run an online store, and I even dabble in Bitcoin mining. I enjoy the challenge of building things from the ground up and thinking outside the box. I also read a lot, and my libertarian leanings have been shaped by writers like Murray Rothbard. The conservative/libertarian focus on freedom, personal responsibility and low time preference connects deeply with how I approach life and therapy: we’re at our best when we are free to live with responsibility in society, own our choices, and pursue truth apart from coercion.
When it comes to therapy itself, I integrate my faith with practical, proven methods. I use Christian Counseling, CBT, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and the Gottman Method to help people grow emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. My goal is to give you a space where your values are respected, your faith is honored, and you feel equipped to face life’s challenges with hope and clarity.
If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the importance of faith, family, freedom, and practical tools for change, I’d love to walk with you on your journey.
My approach is interpersonal to build health in relationship. I am a man who is male and Gay. My diet is herbivore, and I am physically active. I have pets who live with me.
I provide techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to manage anxiety and depression. I am certified to treat trauma with Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for adults and children.
I can treat substance abuse and process addiction and will recommend that you attend group therapy in your community.
I am licensed to provide mental health social work services with an LISW from Ohio CSWMFT Board.
I earned a PhD from The Ohio State University.

I find great joy in supporting people as they discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and create lives that feel more meaningful and peaceful. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family, roller skating, singing, and embracing creative hobbies.

My goal is to equip individuals with practical tools and confidence to improve their emotional well-being, relationships, daily functioning, and overall quality of life.

Hi, I’m Sarah! I'm a licensed therapist who offers online therapy for adults in Ohio and Colorado.
Many of the people I work with are doing their best — but feel stretched thin, stuck in the same patterns, and unsure of how to calm the noise in their mind and body.
In therapy, we’ll gently take a look at what’s going on beneath your patterns — with your stress response, thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the experiences that shaped them. My style is practical and supportive. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT and mindfulness, and I also bring in body-based and energy-psychology tools when they’re helpful — so we’re not only talking about what’s hard, we’re building skills that help you actually feel different over time.
I aim to create a space that feels safe, warm, and grounded — where you can understand yourself with more compassion and feel empowered to move toward the life and relationships you most want.
Please note: I do not currently provide substance abuse treatment or services for clients actively struggling with substance use. If substance use is your primary concern, I encourage you to seek support from a provider who specializes in addiction and recovery.
I currently offer remote individual therapy sessions for adults only. I do not provide couples therapy through my therapy practice or through Grow. I do, however, work with couples separately through my coaching practice, which is outside of Grow Therapy. You can learn more here: https://sarahschweppe.com/couples-coaching
I am a licensed clinical social worker providing individual and couples therapy for adults navigating relationship challenges, grief and loss, emotional overwhelm and major life transitions. My goal is to help clients identify patterns that keep them stuck, strengthen boundaries and build practical coping strategies that support meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is structured, supportive and nonjudgmental, creating space where clients can process challenges and move toward healing and growth. For clients who wish to integrate faith into their counseling journey, I also offer Christian based counseling.
In addition to my therapy work, I bring several years of experience as a medical social worker, serving in hospitals, hospices and long-term care settings. This background gives me a deeper understanding of the emotional, relational and practical challenges that often come with illness, caregiving, grief and significant life transitions. I am licensed to practice in IL, NC and OH.
Greetings! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and have worked with offenders, anger management clients, couples, teens and adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety and depression. Through a strengths based approach, my clients learn more about themselves thus improving self-confidence, communication, mood and overall outlook on life. I love serving my teen and couples clients via the Gallup strengths test. This test helps individuals understand where their energy is highest and what they value most. It's not about "strengths", but values. I believe one of the best things we can do for ourselves is take the time to truly understand ourselves as this helps us learn to communicate effectively, be productive, overcome procrastination and more. This is one tool of many I enjoy using to help my clients.
Hello. I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Ohio. I received my Masters from the University of Toledo and have been practicing for 14 years. I find that having clarity is vital to making changes in our lives. Why we do the things we do, often not even being aware of why we do them. Gaining insight into how our thoughts are impacting our behaviors is crucial to change. Changing the way we interact with others can greatly impact our daily functioning, reduce our stress, and improve our relationships with the people in our lives. Making these changes increases the potential for a more joyful life.
Welcome! I specialize in working with survivors of emotional abuse/narcissistic abuse and women in recovery.
