Hello, I am a therapist who holds a license in clinical social work (LCSW) in Indiana and Ohio (LISW). I received my Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree from Indiana University and my Masters in Clinical Bioethics from Loyola University in Chicago. I have been practicing for 25 years. I enjoy working together with individuals to help them become their best selves.
I am a clinical counselor with over a decade of experience, licensed in Ohio, with a variety of mental health conditions. My specialties include anxiety, depression, parenting, transitions and trauma. I have worked with clients in a variety of settings including inpatient/hospitalization to outpatient services and have supported them throughout whatever struggles they are facing. I am a down to earth counselor who connects with clients on a personal level. I believe therapy is about building strong relationships and connecting with someone who can help you become a better version of yourself. I use my training in trauma and CBT to assist clients with their symptoms.
Individuality is at the heart of how I work. I don’t believe there’s one right way to recover, and I’m not here to hand you a roadmap and tell you to follow it. You’re the expert on your own life. My job is to ask the right questions, help you sort through what you actually want, and support you in building something that’s sustainable for you, not what worked for someone else, not what looks good on paper.
And I mean that genuinely. You are not your diagnosis, your history, or anyone else’s idea of what recovery should look like. The things that make you who you are, your background, your values, your circumstances, the way you see the world, those aren’t obstacles to work around. They’re the starting point. Good therapy, in my opinion, should fit your life, not ask you to fit into it.
Recovery is hard enough without feeling like you’re being managed. Here, you’re in the driver’s seat.
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in central Ohio, specializing in addiction treatment and recovery. For the past 10 years, I’ve worked with people at all different stages of their relationship with substances, whether you’re just starting to question your use, somewhere in the middle of the struggle, or rebuilding after treatment.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton. I also completed an Addiction Medicine fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in Daly City, CA, an experience that gave me a deep respect for just how individual the path to recovery really is.

You deserve a therapist who sees all of you — not just the struggle you’re carrying. I’m here to be that safe space. My clients often describe me as grounding and easy to talk to — someone who helps them feel safe, seen, and understood. In our work together, I’ll help you untangle what feels heavy, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with your true self. My passion is helping you move from simply surviving to creating a life that feels grounded, abundant, and aligned with who you really are.
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervisor designation (LPCC-S) with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University. Before counseling, I was a teacher. I am authentic with my clients and feel that counseling does not need to feel cold or clinical. I am an EMDRIA trained EMDR therapist. My approach to therapy includes meeting the client where they are. I believe the most important part of therapy is feeling comfortable with your therapist since there is a lot of vulnerability in talking about difficult aspects of our lives.

Hi, I’m Rob. I hail from Steubenville, Ohio. Let’s jump right in. Life is hard- we all need a little help and support on the journey. I see myself as walking beside the people with whom I work. Some need to look into the past and process it, receiving a different perspective on it. Some have a specific goal in mind like decreasing anxiety by learning new skills in a short period of time. Others need a listening ear, with some insights sprinkled in. Others still, benefit from clarity and analysis. What do you need? I believe the interpersonal connection between counselor and client can be healing in and of itself. People are ones that hurt us, we're also the ones that heal each other.

Beginning therapy is a courageous step, and I don’t take that for granted. I'm here to help ensure your journey is meaningful and personalized. My work focuses on supporting individuals through trauma, life transitions, as well as challenges related to anxiety, depression, and grief. I use a collaborative, strengths-based, client-centered approach, customizing each session to fit your specific needs and goals. You’ll find a safe, supportive space where you can truly be yourself whenever you are ready to begin.
I graduated with my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016 and I have been practicing counseling in Ohio since October 2016. I have worked with a wide spectrum of clients ranging from teenagers up to retirees. I specialize in working with youth, teens, and adults, but I thrive working with clients across the lifespan. My hope is to help clients achieve their goals for therapy, no matter the age group or struggle.
I’m a therapist who believes people deserve a place where they can breathe, slow down, and feel understood. For more than 25 years, I’ve helped adults navigate anxiety, trauma, stress, and life transitions with a steady, compassionate approach. My style is calm, warm, and down‑to‑earth—I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment or pressure. I deeply value every person I interact with. Everyone is welcome here.
Hi! I’m Shannon, a therapist and fellow mom who specializes in women’s and maternal mental health. I support women navigating pregnancy, infertility, postpartum anxiety and depression, identity shifts, and the mental load of motherhood. You can love your baby deeply and still feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unlike yourself and that doesn’t make you a bad mom.
Alongside my work in maternal mental health, I also support women navigating life changes and transitions that shape who they are. This may include relationship changes or breakups, healing from trauma, anxiety about the future, depression, or rediscovering yourself during times when you feel lost or disconnected.
My work focuses on helping women slow down, reconnect with their nervous system, and become more in tune with their bodies so they can feel more grounded, confident, and whole.
I work with clients who may be struggling with life transitions related to their relationships, family, or self. I often use an eclectic treatment style in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. For example, with CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. I’m a therapist who believes meaningful change starts with feeling truly understood. I bring a calm, grounded presence to sessions and balance insight with practical tools you can use in everyday life. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to grow, I’ll work alongside you to create lasting, realistic change that fits who you are.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for ten years now. You will always know yourself better than I can or will.
From a philosophical and theoretical standpoint. I am overwhelming more of an attachment theorist and have been known to use existentialism from time to time to help make sense of something. I guess the question that remains though is; can a butterfly flap it's wings in Brazil and cause a or tornado in Kentucky, or are we all simply just products of our childhood and mirrors of our parents traumas?
The duality of life.
Attachment Theory vs. Chaos Theory. Both have value. I digress.
My goal is to provide a petridish in which you can explore your self. Safe. Contained. Yet completely in your control. The paradox being, you likely already have what you need. I'll sit with you while you find it. I can give you my clinical opinion, or diagnosis, and recommendations along the way as well if you'd like that. I can just sit and listen. I can play devils advocate. My job is to listen, empower, observe, and provide feedback when requested.
I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods and asks how that makes you feel. That’s not what most men need, especially when it feels like it’s falling apart.
I work with men who are overwhelmed, burned out, or angry and don’t know why. Men who feel stuck in their heads, disconnected from the people they love, or like they’re always one step away from snapping. Some are facing divorce. Others are trying to be better dads, partners, or sons, but they often feel like they’re failing. Many were pushed into therapy by someone who cares about them. Almost all of them stay once they realize it helps.
My approach is practical, honest, and built for the real world. I use tools from CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, plus a good dose of common sense to help you understand what’s going on and actually do something about it. No psychobabble. No lectures. Just straight talk and strategies that work.
If you're tired of feeling angry, lost, or numb, it's going to be okay. You're not broken, and you're not alone. This isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about finding your footing and getting back to who you were before life got so heavy.

I became a counselor because I believe the pieces of our individual stories often become so tangled that it takes someone else to help us sort out and realign our lives. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervision designation (LPCC-S). I have been in private practice for over a decade, primarily helping clients who are struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating. I also work with individuals struggling with other issues including grief, trauma, and anxiety.
I understand that starting therapy can be scary! I work hard to build a safe, non-judgemental space for my client's to feel seen and supported. Through evidence based practice, I work with my clients to challenge and change unwanted thought patterns and behaviors, specifically focusing on anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and body image disturbances. I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervisor designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio and have worked in Outpatient private practice, school-based, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) settings.
Outside of therapy, I love being with my family and our rescue pittie, reading, hiking, and drinking lots of coffee. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and consider me as your therapist, I hope we can work together towards making positive change.
I am a kind and supportive therapist. I provide a space for you to process your experience, pain and trauma so that you can move forward freely. Many of us carry unresolved concerns and issues; many of us have unresolved trauma. This weight keeps us back from being who we wish to be. I can remain present even during very difficult conversations.
