Hi, I’m Rob. I hail from Steubenville, Ohio. Let’s jump right in. Life is hard- we all need a little help and support on the journey. I see myself as walking beside the people with whom I work. Some need to look into the past and process it, receiving a different perspective on it. Some have a specific goal in mind like decreasing anxiety by learning new skills in a short period of time. Others need a listening ear, with some insights sprinkled in. Others still, benefit from clarity and analysis. What do you need? I believe the interpersonal connection between counselor and client can be healing in and of itself. People are ones that hurt us, we're also the ones that heal each other.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

We’ll start by me telling you a bit about myself. I’ll ask if you have any questions and then what brought you here. This first session is unique in that there are a lot of questions about the social/relational, medical/health, and mental health facets of a person. All subsequent sessions are more conversational.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I care a lot about my clients and that is often a healing experience for clients in and of itself. To know someone cares can instill a lot of hope in a person. I am very insightful, compassionate, and direct at times.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I think that each relationship in life that we have is entirely unique. That includes the counselor/client. If a person is open, honest and willing - we can learn and grow. Therapy is an opportunity for that.
