New to Grow
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. I’m a therapist who believes meaningful change starts with feeling truly understood. I bring a calm, grounded presence to sessions and balance insight with practical tools you can use in everyday life. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to grow, I’ll work alongside you to create lasting, realistic change that fits who you are.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, my main goal is to get to know you. I’ll want to hear about your experiences, what’s brought you in, and what feels most important in your life right now. We’ll talk about your goals, your relationships, your stressors, and what you hope might feel different through therapy. It’s also a chance for you to get a feel for me and ask any questions you have. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful of your story.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What makes me unique as a therapist is the energy I bring into the room. I’m calm, grounded, and genuinely laid back, which helps create a space where you can exhale and be yourself. I’m real and straightforward — not overly clinical or scripted — and I value honest, meaningful conversation. Clients often tell me they feel at ease quickly, which allows us to do deeper work without it feeling forced or intimidating.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who’s ready to look inward with honesty and courage. You don’t have to have it all figured out — just a willingness to slow down, reflect, and get curious about your patterns, relationships, and reactions. You’re open to growth, even when it feels uncomfortable, and motivated to better understand yourself so you can live with more clarity, intention, and emotional freedom.
EMDR
I use EMDR to help your brain and nervous system heal from stressful or overwhelming experiences. When something difficult happens, it can get “stuck” in the body and keep you feeling anxious, reactive, or on edge. EMDR helps your brain reprocess those experiences so they feel more settled and less intense. I also use EMDR to gently identify the deeper patterns and beliefs that may be shaping how you see yourself and the world. This gives our sessions clear direction and helps us focus on the roots of the issue — not just the symptoms — so the changes you experience feel lasting and meaningful.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing as a warm, collaborative way to help you figure out what you truly want — even if part of you feels stuck or unsure. Instead of telling you what you “should” do, I help you sort through mixed feelings, explore what matters most to you, and build confidence in your own ability to make changes. The goal is for you to leave feeling clearer, more motivated, and empowered to take steps that genuinely fit your life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Often, we get stuck in patterns of thinking that feel automatic — and those thoughts can strongly shape how we feel and respond to situations. In our work together, we’ll gently slow things down and look at those patterns with curiosity rather than judgment.
