I am a compassionate and client-centered mental health therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions, providing a supportive space where healing and growth can take place. My approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Family Therapy, and faith based therapy (when desired). I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, practical, and grounded in trust. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen coping skills, and align your actions with your values and goals. I am committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether you are seeking support for a specific concern or pursuing deeper personal growth, I am here to walk alongside you in the process.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we begin getting to know one another. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, any current challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. There is no pressure to share everything at once, we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I will also ask some background questions about your personal history, relationships, and overall well being to better understand the full picture of your experiences. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and discuss what therapy may look like moving forward. Most importantly, the first session is about building connection and trust. You can expect empathy, respect, and collaboration as we begin creating a plan tailored to your needs and goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to create a safe, supportive environment while also providing practical tools for meaningful change. Clients often share that they feel genuinely heard, understood, and not judged in our work together. What stands out about my approach is the balance between compassion and structure. I integrate evidence-based methods such as CBT and ACT with a trauma-informed and person-centered foundation, allowing therapy to be both emotionally supportive and goal oriented. I help clients gain insight into patterns that may be holding them back while equipping them with concrete strategies they can apply in everyday life. I also tailor each treatment plan to the individual or family, recognizing that no two journeys are the same. My goal is not just symptom relief, but lasting growth, resilience, and alignment with each client’s values and goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals, couples, and families who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma related concerns, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. Some feel stuck in unhealthy patterns, overwhelmed by stress, or unsure how to move forward. I work especially well with clients who are open to self reflection and willing to engage in the therapeutic process, even if they feel uncertain about where to begin. Whether you are seeking practical coping skills, healing from past experiences, stronger relationships, or deeper alignment with your values and faith, I provide a supportive and structured space to help you reach your goals. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs, meeting you where you are while helping you grow toward where you want to be.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a structured, goal-oriented approach that helps clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. In my practice, I collaborate with clients to increase awareness of cognitive distortions, develop healthier thinking patterns, and build practical coping skills. I appreciate CBT for its evidence-based framework and its effectiveness in treating anxiety, depression, and mood-related concerns.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my work, I draw from Person-centered therapy by creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. I emphasize empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, trusting in each client’s innate capacity for growth and healing. This approach allows clients to explore their experiences openly and develop greater self-awareness, confidence, and self-acceptance.

Christian Counseling

Through Christian counseling, I integrate psychological principles with biblical truth and spiritual formation. When appropriate and desired by the client, I incorporate prayer, Scripture, and a Christian worldview into the therapeutic process. This approach supports clients in addressing emotional and relational concerns while also nurturing their spiritual growth and faith.

Family Therapy

In my work with Family therapy, I view challenges through a relational and systemic lens, recognizing that individual concerns often impact—and are impacted by—the broader family dynamic. I help families improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, and strengthen connection while addressing patterns that may be contributing to conflict or distress. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, empowering each family member to play a role in creating lasting, positive change.

Trauma Informed Care

In my practice, I apply Trauma-informed care by prioritizing safety, trust, and empowerment in every stage of the therapeutic process. I recognize the widespread impact of trauma and remain attentive to how past experiences may influence present behaviors, relationships, and emotional responses. I work collaboratively with clients at a pace that feels safe, helping them build coping skills, restore a sense of control, and foster resilience while avoiding re-traumatization.
