Hello and welcome! I’m Veronica, and I believe healing happens in spaces where you feel heard and respected. My work centers on supporting individuals through anxiety, trauma, self-esteem concerns, and life stressors. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your needs, combining practical strategies with compassionate support so you can feel more grounded, empowered, and in control of your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space where we focus on getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any relevant history. You won’t be pressured to share more than you’re ready to this session is about building comfort, clarity, and a foundation for our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic style is collaborative, direct, and trauma-informed. I create a safe space while gently challenging clients to step outside of survival patterns and into intentional growth. Clients often leave feeling more grounded, empowered, and confident in their ability to handle life’s stressors

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is a high-functioning individual who may appear strong on the outside but feels overwhelmed internally. They often struggle with anxiety, past trauma, boundary-setting, or burnout, and are ready to better understand their patterns. They’re motivated for change and want practical tools they can apply in everyday life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a structured, goal-oriented approach to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my experience, CBT is especially effective for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related symptoms, and life transitions.

Motivational Interviewing

I utilize Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients who are experiencing ambivalence or difficulty making changes in their lives. My experience with MI includes working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who may be struggling with behavioral changes, substance use, lifestyle adjustments, or other personal goals. In practice, I use a collaborative, client-centered approach to explore readiness for change, enhance intrinsic motivation, and help clients identify their own goals and solutions.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients increase psychological flexibility, manage difficult thoughts and emotions, and live in alignment with their values. My experience with ACT includes supporting children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, and avoidance behaviors. In practice, I guide clients to observe their thoughts and feelings without judgment, clarify their personal values, and take actionable steps toward meaningful goals—even when facing discomfort.

Trauma Informed Care

I integrate Trauma-Informed Care principles into all aspects of my practice, recognizing how trauma—such as abuse, neglect, loss, or systemic adversity—impacts a person’s thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced various forms of trauma, and I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and empowering therapeutic environment. In practice, I focus on building trust, providing clear structure, and collaborating with clients to honor their pace and autonomy.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed interventions to support clients who experience emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and interpersonal difficulties. My experience with DBT includes integrating core skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness into individual therapy sessions. In practice, I help clients identify triggers, increase awareness of emotional patterns, and develop practical coping strategies to manage intense emotions without engaging in harmful or impulsive behaviors.
