I think one of the most important parts of therapy is finding the right "fit". That relationship is key in helping grow, trust and meet any goals that you might have going into the therapeutic process. Let me give you a glimpse of who I am! I'm Amy, a LMHC, who has been in the counseling world for over 15 years and love what I get to do. I started my career in the community health sector which I learned so much and worked with diverse groups of people with an array of various needs. I have worked in school settings as well as in homes. I have been deep within the community in many of my roles along the way. I have developed many techniques along the way as not one intervention will work for everyone. Some of the modalities I use are EMDR, CBT, Motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques as well as a combination of these. I meet people where they are, maybe having to learn how they are even feeling let alone how to cope with that feeling. Maybe we have a tool, but if no one ever took the time to teach us, then what good is that tool?

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been counseling clients dealing with a variety of mental, emotional, and relational issues for over 16 years. I have counseled adolescents, adults, families, couples and groups. I decided to pursue a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy because I realized the impact that our families, and society as well, have on our mental and emotional development. The impacts of these are both positive and negative and may manifest as depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, a lack of a sense of self and other mental and emotional disorders. In counseling, I help clients explore those influences and the impact on their life. My specialties then center around helping clients gain insight into those influences, become more empowered, develop a stronger sense of self, and take steps to become who they really are; thereby addressing mental and emotional health issues. It's important to note that many times, experiences unfortunately include trauma and loss. It may be childhood or other trauma. Identifying, acknowledging and processing trauma and loss is therefore often a part of the process of becoming more empowered and developing that strong sense of self described above. .

Hi! I'm a licensed therapist in Georgia. I knew I wanted to be a therapist when I was in the 3rd grade. I would wait at the swing set for my friends to come talk to me about their problems. As someone who was born into poverty and struggled with traumas of my own, I know how difficult life can be at times. Being there for others was something that took my mind off of the stressors of home. After becoming a teen mom, I knew I had to change my life for the better to support my family. I went to college to both heal myself and learn how to help and heal others. I am passionate about helping others meet their goals, feel happy, and have loving supportive relationships in their lives. I believe in practicing what I preach, so you know that if I'm asking you to try something then I've tried it myself and know it works. I believe that we all have the answers inside of us, I just help you find them.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in practice for over 15 years, I have worked with clients that have extensive levels of concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, social and interpersonal relationship challenges not to exclude family discord. I have been adaptable to working in many different settings. I believe the approach of meeting my client where they are is a grounding principle for my therapeutic style. Although not always in person, the distance will never be seen as a distraction. I obtained my master’s degree from Florida State University, but faced many challenges with that. Some struggles in life peak during adolescence and I was no stranger to that. Transitions were not my friend, I had to overcome many relational, financial, and educational difficulties that grew me to understanding personal struggles. I believe in a client-centered approach as all clients are the experts on what works best for them and the challenges that they continue to face. I strive to provide an environment that is non-judgmental and accepting of where you are in your process while helping you get to where you want to be. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I assist clients in exploring relationships among thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to aid in discovering dysfunctional thought patterns leading to self-destructive behaviors and beliefs. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a modality that assist in how trauma is seen and processed. I have worked the better part of my career assisting in trauma processing, clients have been sexually abused, physically abused, or have suffered from significant loss. I have a passion for helping women navigate the effects that stress, trauma, and mental health concerns can have on your overall health and well-being. Oftentimes the women I work with may have depression, anxiety or chronic stress coupled with chronic illnesses like diabetes, high blood pressure or autoimmune issues. They may also have relationship concerns either with a partner, at work or little to no relationship supports. I am Alisha Walker, a Licensed Therapist with over 25 years of experience supporting women, couples, and families in navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and seasons of overwhelm. I specialize in working with high-achieving women who are used to holding everything together for everyone else, yet often feel exhausted, unseen, or disconnected within themselves. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a deep belief that healing is possible and you don’t have to carry it alone. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care, mind-body practices, and, when desired, Christian counseling and faith integration. In our work together, we look at how stress and past experiences may be impacting your emotional and physical health, while building practical tools for grounding, emotional regulation, and overall wellness. Sessions are tailored to the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and relationships. Many of my clients are navigating demanding careers, caregiving roles, relationship shifts, grief, or seasons of change. I provide a safe and nonjudgmental space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. You don’t have to hold everything alone. * I am currently only working with adult individuals and, ideally, Christian adults. At this time, I am NOT working with those seeking medication management, psychiatrist evaluation, and group counseling. When feelings of dissatisfaction or emptiness arise, it may be an invitation to approach life in a new way. As a Christian licensed clinical social worker, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to connect with people of all ages who are on journeys seeking spiritual, emotional, and physical healing. My work has included supporting individuals struggling with substance use, walking alongside survivors of human trafficking, caring for hospice patients and their families, and guiding youth and adults through a variety of life challenges. Since 2011, I have served in different capacities within both the church and the broader community. These experiences have deepened my understanding of people’s needs and continually reminded me of God’s abundant grace. This journey has revealed to me not only God’s compassion for those who suffer, but also the profound inner transformation and freedom that can be found through Jesus Christ.

I am an LCSW and certified addiction counselor with over 25 years of providing behavioral health and addiction services. I began my career in behavioral health while serving in the United States Air Force. There I provided counseling and support to my fellow Airmen. I believe that everyone deserves to live their best life. This led me to further my education. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Oglethorpe University. Then later obtained a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia. When I am not scrapbooking, sewing or creating in my craft room, you can find me volunteering in the community, spending time with friends or traveling.

I’m a therapist at Radically Human Therapy Solutions, and I believe that every person’s story matters. I work with women who feel overwhelmed by emotions, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or are navigating life transitions that feel uncertain. In our work together, I combine evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care with a human-first perspective, creating a space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I guide clients to uncover their strengths, explore challenges safely, and develop practical tools that help them navigate emotions, relationships, and personal growth. My goal is to support you in building resilience, gaining clarity, and living a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and aligned with who you truly are.

I am Tangela (pronounced "Angela" with a T) and I am an experienced Licensed Professional counselor who has been providing counseling services for over 13 years. My background includes providing trauma recovery support and treatment. I also provide support in several other areas including anxiety, depression, women's issues, and Faith based counseling. I use an array of modalities and evidence based treatment methods along with treatment goals for my clients. My primary methods are listed in my profile. I look forward to helping my clients address their areas of concern, overcome them, seek alternative methods, and beneficial methods to improve overall health and wellness. I like to give homework as well in order for my clients to fully see the process all the way through. I also love to provide reading recommendations. I enjoy the transformation period for my clients. I am patient, very understanding, and a great listener. My expertise helps to provide supportive feedback and structure toward meeting the treatment goals set.
