Hi, I’m Traci Stewart, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in supporting adults coping with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and major life transitions. My approach is compassionate, practical, and focused on helping you find relief, clarity, and renewed strength. Through a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) , I work collaboratively with you to create real, lasting change in your daily life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we'll get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. I'll ask about your background, current challenges, and goals to understand how I can best support you. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions and get comfortable with the process as we start to build a therapeutic relationship.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths as a therapist are creating a warm, nonjudgmental space, offering practical and compassionate support, and helping clients feel truly heard and understood. I'm skilled at guiding clients through difficult emotions, clarifying their goals, and equipping them with effective tools to navigate life's challenges and confidence.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, emotional exhaustion, or life transitions, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. I provide online therapy to individuals who want to feel heard, supported, and equipped with tools to cope and grow. Whether you’re struggling with self-doubt, stress, or significant change, I’m here to walk alongside you as you move toward clarity, peace, and resilience.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to stress, anxiety, and depression. With over 17 years of clinical experience, I guide clients in recognizing how their thoughts influence emotions and behaviors, and we work together to develop practical coping strategies that promote balance and resilience. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and collaborative—I aim to create a safe space where clients can gain insight, challenge self-critical beliefs, and build healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges.
EMDR
I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process distressing memories and reduce the emotional impact of emotional trauma. By targeting and reprocessing trauma memories, EMDR promotes new insight, emotional relief, and lasting change.
