Hi, my name is Luz, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I worked as a teacher for over 15 years before making the journey into a community mental health career. I have experience in mobile crisis response, trauma, forensic mental health concerns. To explain who I am as a therapist, I reflect back to my role as an educator. In the classroom, there was a movement for the teacher to be less of a “sage on the stage” (teacher-centered approach) and more of a “guide on the side” (student-centered). To me, therapy is a lesson plan for a learning experience. It's a guide to develop what the client needs to learn in order to cope with whatever barriers are showing up in the client's life, whether that barrier is an internal issue, such as self-image, or how to cope with work stress. My therapeutic perspective is to provide empathetic, non-judgmental, compassionate guidance and support in an atmosphere of respect and safety while allowing clients to be the experts of their lives, much like “a co-pilot, a sous chef, or an assistant manager” of a client-therapist relationship. I use solution-focused elements to help move toward desired goals, cognitive behavioral techniques to challenge unhelpful thoughts, and motivational interviewing to help gain understanding and clarity. Outside of traditional therapy, I enjoy the practices of mindfulness, guided meditation, aromatherapy, and Reiki. Finding a therapist that's the right fit can be a challenging task, but taking that first step towards a healthier you is worth it. I look forward to working with you to help break down those barriers and make progress in areas that most matter to you.

Greetings! I’m Letitia, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Georgia, and also licensed to provide therapy in Colorado and Florida. I’m passionate about helping clients discover their purpose, break through barriers that hold them back, and begin living the life they’ve always imagined. Before becoming a counselor, I spent 12 years as an educator, which gave me a deep understanding of the academic, social, and emotional challenges that young people face. Today, I work with clients ages 10 through 35, supporting them through the pivotal transitions of adolescence, young adulthood, and early professional life. I understand how it feels to struggle with fear, depression, anxiety, low confidence, or a lack of purpose — because I’ve been there myself. These personal experiences allow me to bring empathy, authenticity, and real-world perspective into every session. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals overcome depression, anxiety, ADHD, PMDD, phobias, PTSD, and trauma. I also work with clients coping with grief, relationship challenges, and substance use concerns, as well as those seeking clarity in college, career, and personal growth. My therapeutic approach is integrative, compassionate, and eclectic, blending evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. I use humor, authenticity, and flexibility to create a space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves while working toward lasting change. Clients can expect a warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative environment where we’ll uncover strengths, challenge limiting beliefs, and develop practical tools for emotional balance and growth. Together, we’ll create a path toward a more confident, fulfilled, and purpose-driven life.

I am a therapist and a mother of three children, which gives me both professional and personal insight into the challenges individuals and families face. My work is grounded in supporting clients through real-life stressors with empathy, patience, and practical tools for change. I have several years of experience working with children and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, as well as supporting those involved in crisis situations and the child welfare system. I value creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard and supported while also being encouraged to take active steps toward growth and healing. I am passionate about helping others build resilience, improve their quality of life, and feel more confident in managing life’s challenges. Fun fact: I often incorporate simple, everyday strategies from therapy into daily life—because sometimes the smallest mindset shifts can make the biggest difference.

I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Therapist who works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, trauma, and self-esteem concerns. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and a systemic perspective, recognizing that our experiences are shaped by our relationships, family systems, and environment. In Narrative Therapy, I believe that the problem is the problem, not the person. Together, we work to separate individuals from the challenges they face, helping them develop more empowering and meaningful life stories. I also integrate mindfulness-based interventions to help clients increase self-awareness, manage difficult emotions, and remain grounded during times of stress. My goal is to meet clients where they are, providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Hello, I’m Carmen Bales, LCSW. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a background in hospice and medical social work, where I’ve spent many years supporting people through grief, chronic stress, life transitions, and uncertainty. In therapy, I offer a calm, supportive space for adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck—even when they appear “high-functioning” on the outside. My approach is integrative and person-centered, drawing from talk therapy, expressive arts, and body-based (somatic) awareness to help clients reconnect with themselves and make sense of what they are carrying. You do not need to be “creative” to work with me. Expressive and reflective tools are used gently and always at your comfort level. I believe healing begins with being seen, understood, and supported—rather than being rushed to fix or change yourself. If you choose to have sessions with me, you will be truly seen.

I understand how early relationships shape the way we see ourselves and others. As someone who was adopted at birth and grew up navigating change and complex family dynamics, I developed a deep respect for each person’s story and how attachment wounds are formed and healed. In our work together, we create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. We move at a pace that honors your story while gently working toward meaningful change. Hello, I'm Jane originally born and raised in N.J. and living in Florida since 2017. I've been practicing mental health therapy for 40+ years in the field and in private practice. I enjoy working with clients and helping them through the therapy process and achieve their goals. Originally, I was planning on becoming an anthropologist and studying with Dr. Margaret Mead, however, my career plans changed when I realized that my own family had difficulties in communicating with each other. I wanted to study and help other families learn to talk to one another. From seeing families, this turned into seeing children-teens, couples, and adults. I find it very rewarding to help clients through a difficult time.

My last job before doing psychotherapy full time was working in an emergency room alongside psychiatric residents doing crisis evaluations, advocating for all populations to get them the proper level of care needed. I like to think in psychotherapy session’s that, “I meet people where they are at in life”, and take it from there. I am an empath and proud of it. I have worked as a Mental Health Therapist for well, close to 40 years years (can't believe it!), and I love my work as much today as the day I started. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have worked as a Certified Addictions professional. I am honored to join patients where they are at on their journey. I focus on setting positive goals which can often help define the problem. As I have realized the courage it takes to come to therapy, I work to establish comfort by asking questions, and being sensitive to what your expressed needs are. Then, of course, the therapeutic work will follow. I utilize a warm, relaxed style with fierce reflection or gentle support as needed. I believe that everyone benefits from a therapeutic experience to attain the best version of themselves. 1 utilize humor combined with therapeutic skills which makes my approach unique. Laughter isn't always appropriate, but it can be very helpful with reframing and bringing down barriers. I have a broad skill set and utilize multiple interventions to create a unique treatment plan for each person, couple, or family. Some of the modalities that I frequently utilize are: Solution- Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-education, Systems Theory, Emotion Focused Therapy, Behavioral Modification, Skills training and Motivational interviewing/coaching.

Hi there, I am Charly. As a clinical therapist, I admire your willingness to seek therapy support. I want to offer understanding, and empathic emotional support to assist anyone experiencing emotional distress. Most people tend to suffer silently in their heads, or minds, due to conscious or subconscious, self-blame, shame, or guilt feelings as they seem to feel helpless. Individuals experiencing acute emotional distress due to mental health conditions often fail to realize that unresolved, deep internal pain or heartache is silently triggering their emotional distress. One school of talk therapy called, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), proposes that the lack of the capacity for "Psychological Flexibility" and our brain's default, or Survival Mode functioning the instinctual responses of "Flight or Flight," as required for human survival. As, your therapist, I am willing to support you in exploring your difficulty or distress and examine the mental barriers or psychological blinders causing you to feel internally conflicted and stuck. Some of my past and current clients tell me that "my ability to relate to them with an open mind and withholding personal judgment and a solution-focused perspective," helps them to feel at ease and connect with me and my style of therapy. I follow an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from academic learning, experiential knowledge, and over 30 years of practicing experience using evidence-based treatment modalities based on scientific literature and up-to-date neuroscience research. I have training and experience in the following major treatment modalities such as CBT, REBT, SFBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and specifically to deal with trauma, a newer form of Rapid Eye Movement Therapy (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).

Hi, I’m Philip Crouse, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. My clinical background is rooted in high-acuity environments, meaning I am highly experienced in helping individuals navigate complex crises, severe anxiety, deep depression, and the heavy weight of addiction and trauma. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or buried by recent life events, my goal is to help you find air to breathe right now. I don't believe in just sitting and nodding while you vent; therapy should be active. We will work collaboratively using practical, evidence-based tools—like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused techniques—to dismantle unhelpful behavioral loops and build immediate, actionable coping strategies. I operate from a strictly trauma-informed framework. This means I understand that safety and nervous system stabilization are the prerequisites for any real healing, and your autonomy and pace are always my top priorities. Whether you are navigating intense grief, the pressure of a major life transition, or the ongoing impact of past trauma, I provide a grounded, non-judgmental space where you are seen as a resilient survivor. Together, we can shift from just talking about the problem to actively building the functional, manageable life you deserve.

Hi, I am a Christian counselor first and foremost. Please if you are not a Christian, follower of Jesus Christ or desire to serve Christ, do not schedule a therapy session with me. I specialize in assisting individuals that use their spiritual faith as a weapon. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma and those with a history of sexual abuse. Most people at some point in their life will deal with depression. I strive to help my clients determine the root cause of their issues. We then explore ways of achieving healing and recovery through the word of God. Habakkuk 2: 2 ...Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it". Let me help you make a life plan to set your life in order according to scripture.
