I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience providing individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. I am deeply committed to helping clients heal emotionally, build resilience, and reconnect with their sense of worth and purpose. My passion for this work is rooted in lived experience. Moving to Nigeria at the age of six, losing my father at twelve, and later experiencing the loss of my newborn taught me firsthand about grief, strength, and the importance of compassionate support. These experiences shaped both who I am and how I show up as a therapist—with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for each client’s journey. I believe healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and empowered. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck toward clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful personal growth.
Greetings! My name is Crystal, I am a therapist with a passion for my work. I come from a client-centered approach because I believe you, the Client, is the expert on the current experience. My experience has taught me from this central humanistic standpoint, the relevant and helpful interventions are at arm's reach. I believe in educating my clients and partnering with them through their unique experience with therapy.
I enjoy living in the Joshua Tree area and exploring the beautiful desert. My new and healthier lifestyle is keeping me busy with exercise and cooking. The combination of the two has made my new life a true second chance!

Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) who's been practicing for the past 8 years. I primarily work with adults who may be struggling with a variety of issues: anxiety, depression, work stress/career transitions, ADHD/ADD, anger management, and eating disorders. I have a passion for working with adults dealing with issues related to their relationship with food and/or body image concerns - finding myself serving as a co-chair of the Male Eating Disorder Special Interest Group (SIG) for the Academy for Eating Disorders.
Are you struggling with something that happened? Maybe you’re having a hard time after a car accident, medical procedure, assault, natural disaster, or witnessing something shocking. Or maybe what happened doesn’t seem “big” enough to call trauma, but you know it changed something in you.
Some experiences are what we call “big T” traumas. But there are also “little t” traumas. Being neglected or made to feel invisible, being made fun of, getting yelled at, or losing a pet can leave a lasting mark too. An experience doesn’t have to seem “big” to everyone else. What matters is how it affected you.
I’m a trauma therapist who uses EMDR and other therapies to help people work through overwhelming experiences and feel more like themselves again.
I also work with healthcare workers who have experienced disturbing or traumatic situations in the course of their jobs. You may be carrying something you saw, heard, or had to do that is difficult to talk about with people who haven’t been there.
I have extensive experience working with adolescents and teenagers as well. This is a time of life when everything can feel big, and having a place where you don’t have to minimize what you’re feeling can make a real difference.
Therapy with me is active and collaborative. We’ll work together to understand what is keeping you stuck and find ways to help you. If you’re motivated and short on time, I can also give you practical tools and knowledge you can use between sessions to support yourself through a difficult space.
I’m probably a good fit if you’re ready to work on the impact of something overwhelming and want a therapist who will take your experience seriously, even if other people might not understand why it affected you so deeply.

I enjoy working with adults of any age in individual therapy.
Some of my specialties include stress management, grief and loss, anxiety , self-esteem and supporting clients facing life changes.
With more than 25 years of experience, I consider myself an eclectic therapist using an Integrative Holistic approach. I look forward to working with you and invite you to reach out.
Hi, I’m Angie.
Are you ready to make some positive changes that will improve your life? Maybe you’re suffering from depression, or anxiety is imposing limitations on how you live your life. Your journey and the life experience that led you here can be complicated, multidimensional, and diverse. I believe the approach to your psychotherapy should be as dynamic as you are and shouldn’t be limited to a “one theory fits all” methodology. You don’t have to face these challenges alone.
Jungian therapy will look at the relationship of your “self” to your experiences and look at problems as a symptom of something deeper.
Whether it be a thought or perception, dream, belief, value or current relationship that brings you to therapy, we'll look for what messages are coming to you from within. Tapping into your own creativity, we can use myth and metaphor, poetry, dreams, literature and art to explore your relationship to the problem.

Hi, I'm Karen Lopez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), artist, and lifelong student of human behavior. I believe healing begins in a space where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself—without judgment, pressure, or the need to have everything figured out.

My own life has been shaped by profound loss, family trauma, major life transitions, and the experience of rebuilding my identity through seasons of uncertainty. What drew me to therapy was my interest in social justice work while I was attending the University of Washington, and did peer counseling with students. I have always been interested in helping people, I enjoy hearing people’s stories, and I also find that in the therapeutic process I learn more about myself. Through my therapy journey I have gained much experience in working with diverse people. Hello, my name is Tanya Andino, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and thank you for taking this 1st step. Life can be stressful and feeling stuck or overwhelmed can be exhausting, but I am here to tell you, that you don’t have to do it alone. And having the type of life and relationships you want, is possible. With over 17 years of experience practicing in the field of mental health, I have seen the power of how minor shifts in our daily lives, can lead to growth, self-discovery, transformation, healing and ultimately, fulfillment.
With a background in social services and education, my journey into the field of mental health began with a firm belief in the intrinsic worth of each human being and the intention to effect change through compassion and integrity.
I began practicing as a therapist and psychologist in 2012 after graduating from the Higher School of Psychology in Moscow, Russia. Since then, I have had the privilege of working with diverse clients across different clinical settings and cultural environments. After relocating to the United States, I chose to continue my professional path as a Marriage and Family Therapist, bringing with me approximately 12 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through emotional, relational, and life-transition challenges.
Before entering the mental health field, I spent more than 30 years working as a legal professional in consulting, corporate law, and finance. While these professions may seem quite different, both have deepened my understanding of people, relationships, decision-making, conflict, resilience, and the many ways life circumstances can shape our experiences. Working across different professional, family, organizational, and cultural systems has given me a broad perspective on the challenges people face and the strengths they draw upon to adapt, grow, and find meaning in their lives.
Altogether, my professional experience spans nearly four decades across different countries, cultures, populations, and work environments. This diverse background enriches my work as a therapist and allows me to bring a thoughtful, practical, and culturally sensitive perspective to the therapeutic process. I understand that every person's story is unique, and I strive to create a space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported as they navigate life's challenges and opportunities for growth.
Perhaps most importantly, I genuinely value the work I do. Being a mental health professional is more than a career for me—it is a source of purpose, meaning, and connection. I feel grateful for the opportunity to accompany people on their journey toward greater self-understanding, healing, and fulfillment, and I consider it a privilege to be entrusted with that process.
If you struggle with anxious attachment, people pleasing, setting boundaries, feeling triggered, anger, anxiety, depression, co-dependence, parenting issues, and ADD/ ADHD, then I want to work with you. These symptoms and attachment style are often related to each other and often related to similar childhood experiences of inconstant or abusive/neglectful caregivers. (ADD and ADHD is not cause by caregivers, however, when it goes undiagnosed in children, there is s strong correlation to symptoms described above)
I have been privileged being a therapist for over 40 years. I have worked as a probation officer, child protection worker and directer of various treatment programs. I have also been in therapy which gives me a perspective of the the value of therapy as both a client and therapist. I enjoy working with folks in the recovery community, first responders and those who had traumatic childhoods. I respect the courage it takes to ask for help. I treat your courage with honor and dignity.

With over 15 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California, I provide a grounded, compassionate, and highly personalized approach to mental health. I’m Melba — Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of Rising Tide Family Therapy. I’m especially drawn to working with people navigating the tension between who they’ve been expected to be and who they’re becoming—particularly those who are used to considering everyone else’s needs, have a hard time disappointing people, or are the first in their family to do something different..
I come to therapy from a different career, which gives me a practical lens alongside my clinical one. You might come to therapy feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure of what you want. You might be struggling with communication, boundaries, executive functioning, or simply feeling like you’re carrying more than your share. I specialize in helping people who feel stuck in patterns of overextension — often the ones who've kept pushing until their body or job forced a stop. I take a strengths-based, compassion-focused approach to burnout and workplace stress, helping clients find their footing and build something more sustainable going forward.
We’ll look at both what’s happening internally and the systems around you, with an emphasis on identifying where you actually have room to make a difference. And therapy with me doesn’t have to be solemn all the time. I love a good TV or movie reference, a healthy dose of absurdity, and a laugh when the moment calls for it.
My roots are in Kerala, India, and I was raised in San Jose, California, within an Orthodox Christian tradition. Today, I’d describe myself as spiritually agnostic. Given my own background, I’m particularly attuned to the weight that can come with collectivist cultures—the obligation, silence, and guilt that can arise when you’re the person who wants something different. I believe that tending to your own wellbeing isn’t selfish; individual wellbeing is part of collective wellbeing.

I provide a calm, empathetic, and nurturing environment where you will feel heard, and most importantly, understood. My grieving clients experience closure through writing letters to their loved ones who have died. This letter writing is effective for all forms of loss. Reading the letters aloud is very healing as it encourages acceptance, and permits moving on to build a life filled with love and laughter.
As a Doctor of Psychology and psychotherapist for 45+ years, I've dealt with my own grief and loss by writing the nonfiction book, "Doggie Wisdom for Humans: Advice from Dogs for Humans of All Ages," and an autobiographical fiction series, "The Adventures of the Angel Oleo." I hope you have an opportunity to read my books and that I get to help you.
My name is Chiwoo. I enjoy working with individuals who struggle with overthinking, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. As a recovering people-pleaser myself, I understand the challenge of being your authentic self while trying to meet other people's expectations. In therapy, I combine evidence-based approaches with my own healing journey to help you feel less alone, build self-trust, and live with more confidence.
Therapy has been an important part of my own life, and I know how much healing can happen within a relationship where we feel—and are—genuinely understood. It is my experience that people rarely fit into simple explanations. We each arrive with a history, ways of coping that developed for a reason, and our own sense of what a meaningful life looks like. I approach each person with genuine respect and curiosity, without assuming I already know what their experiences mean or what is right for them. I want to understand the fuller story of who you are—not just the difficulty that brought you to therapy. From that understanding, we can look honestly at what is happening and determine what meaningful, lasting change looks like for you.
Many people come to therapy because they’re struggling with something specific, while others arrive with a more difficult-to-name feeling that something isn’t quite right. They may feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, navigating a difficult relationship, grieving a loss, or simply sensing that something isn’t working the way it once did.
I offer a space where you can show up as you are without needing to have everything figured out. I have worked extensively with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families through some of life’s most difficult and meaningful transitions. My approach is thoughtful, relational, and collaborative. Together, we’ll make sense of your experiences, explore the patterns that shape your life, and create space for greater understanding, growth, and change.

Hi. My psychotherapy practice serves individual adults who feel stuck in old, negative patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior linked to childhood trauma. My perspective is that childhood trauma can have a lifelong impact on the ability of people to like, accept, and have compassion for themselves; to feel personal and social competence; to feel, express, and regulate their emotions; to be vulnerable, honest, and communicative in relationships; to take risks at work and in relationships; and to find meaning, satisfaction, and joy in life. If you have struggled for years to function in one or more of these areas due to identifiable childhood trauma, you are welcome to set up an initial appointment. The most common emotional problems connected to childhood trauma are depression, anxiety, and OCD. Prior to the appointment, it's best that we speak on the phone to determine if we are a good match.
Hi, I’m Jacob Mooradian. I earned my bachelor’s degree from CSU Fullerton and my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, where I focused on mental health and supporting people through life’s challenges. I take a down-to-earth, non-directive approach rooted in CBT, helping you understand the patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so you can eventually become your own therapist. I love bringing in media like movies, TV shows, sports, and current trends to make our conversations relatable, engaging, and grounded in real life. My goal is to validate your experiences, help you gain clarity, and build practical tools you can use every day. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are and move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll create a warm, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow with confidence and independence.
You deserve to feel better. If you've been feeling stressed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that are hard to change, you're not alone, and you don't have to figure it out on your own.

My goal is to create a space where therapy feels like a real, supportive conversation—one where you can better understand yourself and begin to move forward with clarity.
Many of the people I work with are dealing with anxiety, stress, or emotional patterns that leave them feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Together, we take a closer look at what's happening beneath the surface—not just within you, but within the context of your life, your relationships, and the situations you're navigating every day. We explore how your thoughts, emotions, and stress responses are connected, and we build tools to help you respond in healthier, more empowering ways.
I believe there are two important relationships worth understanding: the relationships you have with other people, and the relationship you have with yourself. A question we'll often explore is, "What happens to you when...?" Whether it's conflict, criticism, disappointment, or uncertainty, understanding how you respond under different circumstances helps you recognize patterns and make choices that better reflect the person you want to be.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and down-to-earth. Together, we'll focus on the parts of your life that are within your influence… strengthening communication, setting healthy boundaries, and making changes that help your relationships feel healthier while allowing you to feel more like yourself.

Welcome and thanks for stopping in. My name is Kristy, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and my pronouns are she/her/hers. My ancestry is both Native American and northern European. I have been working in this field since 2013 and I have seen how overwhelming life can feel these days. There are so many pressures at home, at school and work, with your relationships and in society at large! Have you been feeling stressed, anxious, and/or worried about your future? Perhaps you feel consumed with thoughts about how you compare to others and what others think of you? Is your mind full of racing thoughts about how you just might not be good enough? Or perhaps there is a relentless inner critic that won't let you off the hook? I know how this feels because I have been there myself and I can tell you it does not have to be this way. You can learn to develop a different kind of relationship with yourself: One in which you can learn how the mind works & how to navigate its unhelpful & painful patterns more effectively; one in which you can discover how to approach yourself with kindness & support--the way you would a good friend in pain; one in which you uncover your strengths, gifts & values and allow this self-knowledge to help you make decisions in your life of which you feel proud. Are you feeling ready to dive deeper into your unconscious patterns that are affecting the way you live? Are you thinking you do not want to do some of the same ineffective things in your life that perhaps your caregivers did? I invite you to reach out to begin this deeper exploration.
