LMFT, 12 years of experience
Hello! My primary focus is supporting adults as they navigate life’s challenges—including depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, and the unique transitions of perimenopause and menopause. I am deeply committed to guiding clients through these experiences with compassion and insight, helping them uncover clarity, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) located in California, with 12 years of dedicated experience in the field.
During our first session, we will begin with brief introductions before delving into the specific challenges you are facing, along with your history and the intensity of those experiences. This initial discussion will enable me to develop a personalized plan that we can work on together in our subsequent sessions.
With over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, I have cultivated a proven approach to help you uncover the root causes of your challenges. Together, we will create a customized plan designed to facilitate measurable progress on your journey to well-being.
I have a deep passion for working with adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, and relationship issues and the unique transitions of perimenopause and menopause. My clients are motivated to improve their lives, yet they often lack the necessary tools to turn their aspirations into reality. As a result, they frequently feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious.
Help the client identify the negative or distorted thoughts that may be contributing to their emotional distress. This could be automatic thoughts, core beliefs, or maladaptive thinking patterns. Introduce the concept of the cognitive triangle, where thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected.
Help clients gain insight into their mental health and build the skills needed for self-management. Psychoeducation involves providing clients with information about their symptoms, conditions, or coping strategies to increase their understanding and empower them to take an active role in their treatment.
Help clients manage stress, regulate emotions, and improve overall well-being. The practice encourages present-moment awareness, non-judgmental acceptance, and self-compassion.

I am grateful for Yenni. She is real and intelligent and kind. I don't feel like I have to have all the right answers or perform at my best. I am able to be vulnerable and feel safe.
