Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) located in California, with 12 years of dedicated experience in the field. I obtained my master’s degree from the University of Phoenix, where I honed my skills and knowledge. My primary focus is on supporting adults as they confront a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, and relationship difficulties. I am passionate about guiding my clients through these issues, helping them find clarity and resilience along the way.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will begin with brief introductions before delving into the specific challenges you are facing, along with your history and the intensity of those experiences. This initial discussion will enable me to develop a personalized plan that we can work on together in our subsequent sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

With over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, I have cultivated a proven approach to help you uncover the root causes of your challenges. Together, we will create a customized plan designed to facilitate measurable progress on your journey to well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Help the client identify the negative or distorted thoughts that may be contributing to their emotional distress. This could be automatic thoughts, core beliefs, or maladaptive thinking patterns. Introduce the concept of the cognitive triangle, where thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected.

Psychoeducation

Help clients gain insight into their mental health and build the skills needed for self-management. Psychoeducation involves providing clients with information about their symptoms, conditions, or coping strategies to increase their understanding and empower them to take an active role in their treatment.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Help clients manage stress, regulate emotions, and improve overall well-being. The practice encourages present-moment awareness, non-judgmental acceptance, and self-compassion.
