New to Grow
I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My approach to therapy is integrative and personalized, drawing from a variety of modalities-including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Humanistic Therapy. I believe that meaningful change begins with self-awareness and compassionate understanding. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck, I’m here to help you identify what’s holding you back and support you in reaching your personal goals. Through CBT and DBT, I help clients challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and build emotional resilience. With Brainspotting and EMDR, we can gently access and process unresolved trauma and deeply held emotional pain. My humanistic lens ensures that our work always centers on your unique values, strengths, and capacity for growth. No matter where you are on your journey, I’ll meet you with empathy, encouragement, and practical tools to help you move forward. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change in your life.
In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and beginning to build a safe, supportive, and collaborative relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and address any questions or concerns you may have about the process. I’ll also ask some questions as part of an initial assessment to better understand your background, current experiences, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. This helps me tailor my approach to best support you. Just as it’s important for you to feel comfortable with me, I’m also paying attention to whether I’m the right therapist to meet your needs. If it seems like we may not be the best fit, I’ll let you know in a thoughtful and respectful way, and can offer referrals to someone who might be better suited to support you. The therapeutic relationship is deeply personal, and finding the right match is an important part of the healing process.
What sets me apart as a therapist is my authenticity, genuine care for each person I work with, and a deeply non-judgmental approach. I meet clients exactly where they are, creating a space where they feel safe, seen and supported just as they are.
I’m especially well-positioned to support clients who are ready to create meaningful change in their lives through therapy. Whether you’re seeking healing, personal growth, or new ways of coping, I bring a grounded, compassionate approach that helps you move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) CBT focuses on identifying and reshaping unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. In therapy, I work with clients to recognize negative thought patterns, challenge cognitive distortions, and develop healthier responses to everyday situations. This approach is especially effective for anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. Together, we set clear goals, track progress, and apply practical tools that clients can use both inside and outside of sessions.
Brainspotting Brainspotting is a powerful somatic-based therapy that accesses and processes trauma stored in the body and brain. Using eye position and focused mindfulness, I guide clients to uncover and release emotional pain that traditional talk therapy may not reach. This method is particularly helpful for trauma, anxiety, and performance blocks. Brainspotting allows clients to tap into deep healing without needing to verbalize every detail of their experience.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices to help clients manage intense emotions and improve interpersonal relationships. I use DBT to support individuals who struggle with emotional dysregulation, self-harm, or borderline traits. In our sessions, we focus on building four core skills: distress tolerance, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. Clients gain the ability to respond to stress with greater balance and self-awareness.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) EMDR is a structured therapy that helps individuals heal from trauma and disturbing life experiences. I use EMDR to facilitate the brain's natural healing process through bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements). Clients revisit distressing memories in a safe, controlled way while reprocessing them to reduce emotional charge. Over time, painful memories lose their intensity, and clients gain a more adaptive, empowered perspective.
Humanistic Therapy Humanistic therapy emphasizes personal growth, self-awareness, and living authentically. I create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and values. This approach helps individuals reconnect with their inner sense of purpose and align with their true selves. I work collaboratively with clients to foster self-acceptance and unlock their potential, encouraging a deeper sense of meaning and fulfillment in life.
