"You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."
-A.A. Milne
We all struggle at times to see our inner strengths and capabilities due to the life experiences which have shaped us. I work in the belief that we each have everything we need to achieve a fulfilled and successful life already present within us; sometimes we just need a little help accessing it. Using a multi-modality approach I encourage my clients to work in the small steps, not the giant leaps, that bring us to self awareness, acceptance, and lasting change.
I began my working career as an EMT in pre-hospital and Emergency Room settings. The desire to further my education and better serve my community led me to pursue becoming an LMFT. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandman University and a Master’s degree in Psychology with a dual emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Counseling from Brandman University. I have additional training and experience in Clinical Pastoral Education from the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base and have worked in both residential treatment and clinical settings.
I have four sons and two grandchildren. In my off time I enjoy spending time in nature, photography, and attending baseball games with my husband of 25 years.
Feeling stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed by life changes? I help adults—especially women navigating motherhood, grief, career transitions, and relationship challenges—find emotional balance, reduce anxiety, and cope with life’s difficulties.
My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and heart-centered, using CBT, mindfulness, and experiential techniques to help you understand patterns, heal from past wounds, and build practical coping skills.
In our sessions, you’ll find a safe, supportive space to explore your challenges, develop strategies to manage stress and anxiety, and improve your relationships, confidence, and overall well-being.
My career as a classroom teacher, assistant principal and university professor served me well in my current practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Hi. I am the daughter of immigrants which motivated me to study Multicultural community based psychology. I have worked in many different settings from community mental health to private practice. Currently I am the director of a consultation unit for youth and young adults in the foster care system. I really enjoy working with people on how to maximize their potential to create happier lives; sometimes this is achieved through more traditional therapy while other times this may require life coaching. I do not believe that therapy needs to be a continuous life long process, but rather a process individuals move in and out of at different stages of their lives.
I am glad you are taking time to get to know me. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have my M.S. in clinical psychology from San Francisco State University and my undergrad in psychology from Purdue University. I have worked with a multitude of differing diagnosis and problems over this extensive period of time. I take such pride in helping families and individuals live a better life and obtain their desired goals. I am passionate in wanting to help alleviate suffering and I stay determined in doing so.
Hi, I’m Paola Zaldivar, a licensed therapist providing therapy for individuals and couples. I have four years of experience, and I believe healing begins in a space where you feel seen, safe, and supported. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, or relationship challenges, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and clarity. My goal is to create meaningful, lasting change by helping you understand yourself more deeply and strengthen your relationships. I can also help you navigate major life transitions—such as getting married, becoming a parent, adjusting to an empty nest, starting school, experiencing grief or illness, or going through a divorce—by getting to the root of your concerns and using cognitive-behavioral techniques to help you regain stability and confidence.
I’m Juliana Mott Fabio, LCSW, and I specialize in supporting adults who are navigating grief, life transitions, anxiety, and the quiet emotional weight that can build when life feels overwhelming. Many of my clients come to therapy during seasons when they feel unsteady—after a loss, during a major shift in identity or relationships, or when old patterns of coping no longer feel sustainable. My role is to offer a grounded, compassionate space where you can slow down, reflect, and understand what you’re carrying with gentleness rather than judgment.
With a background in hospice, bereavement counseling, crisis work, and somatic practices, I bring both clinical experience and a deep respect for the human experience. I blend talk therapy with somatic and mindfulness-based tools to help clients reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and feel more present and supported in daily life. Together, we explore what is no longer serving you, strengthen your resilience, and identify new ways of relating to yourself and others.
My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel seen, understood, and empowered—where you can process your emotions, rebuild your sense of self, and move forward with clarity and confidence. You don’t have to navigate these transitions alone.

Seeking therapy is one of the most courageous steps you can take for yourself. Whether you want to heal past wounds, resolve conflict in your relationships, or better manage the stressors of life, therapy is the space where your goals and values are prioritized. It is where you can feel safe to be vulnerable and open. Because there is no singular way to engage in treatment, therapy does not conform to strict constructs, norms, or stereotypes. Rather, therapy is meant to reflect your authentic self and promote the innate power you hold. The right therapist should honor the nuances of your life’s journey, while also helping explore the path forward that you want to lead.
In the words of Brené Brown, “Story stewardship means honoring the sacred nature of story–the ones we share and the ones we hear–and knowing that we’ve been entrusted with something valuable or that we have something that we should treat with respect and care." I look forward to honoring your journey here, and your journey forward. Thank you so much!

I have served as a therapist for 8 years and have spent the majority of my time serving the substance-use population. My time serving this population inspired my pursuit of becoming EMDR trained, given the degree of stressors and trauma this population is impacted by.
If you’re reading this, it means you exist. Based on your religion, culture, or general belief, you may have a meaning for existence. However, no matter your meaning, one thing is clear - existence can be very challenging for us. There are many ways to cope with the challenges of existing, resulting in different experiences. Therapy is just one way to manage the challenges.
Therapy
There are many ways to approach therapy. One way I like to approach it is to view an individual as a system. In therapy then, we check the system to see what’s working well, what’s neutral, and what’s not going well. In doing this, the goal is to get an individual to admit the reality of things, not what the individual wants or hopes but the present true reality.
It's important to identify and understand the reality of an individual because often there are significant fears and or unstable belief in the individual’s ability to manage challenges and get desired results.
Lack of control – one of the foundational fears for us is the lack of control we seem to have over ourselves and others. How does one cope with seemingly so little control - from how one comes into existence to how will my friend react if I said no.
Whether you’re a veteran in going to therapy or trying it for the first time, we will work as a team to see if we can get you to be how you want to be given the infinite things that are not in your control.

My clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, grief, personality disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, and concerns related to sex and pornography addiction. My therapeutic style is both solutions-focused and rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). In addition to my clinical work, I have an extensive background in clinical research. While serving in the Air Force, I conducted sleep studies and developed modern treatment approaches for PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. This research continues to inform my practice, and I place strong emphasis on developing healthy routines, quality sleep schedules, and consistent self-care as foundations for mental health. I often work with clients to build structure into daily life, recognizing these habits play a powerful role in resilience and long-term well-being.
