About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in Santa Monica. I received my masters degree from the University of Southern California and have been practicing for the past 5 years in community mental health. I feel it is important to create a safe, judgement free environment where clients can openly share experiences and address intimate details of life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with introductions, then explore specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in the sessions to come.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe it is important to have laughter and fun during therapy. I am passionate about serving others and work hard to provide person centered care with compassion, grace, and kindness.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Working in community mental health has allowed me to effectively work with a range of emotions/feelings. I enjoy utilizing trauma informed care, strength based approaches, mindfulness, CBT, EMDR & DBT to aid each individual towards reaching their goals while taking into account past experiences to explore and explain current thought patterns and behaviors. Whether you are dealing with grief, a break-up, depression, anxiety, work/school stress, or a major transition, therapy is a tool we can use to make life easier.

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR is an incredibly dynamic intervention that helps process trauma without needing to verbally go into the details of the events. We can take EMDR at your pace and work through trauma in ways that typical therapy cannot!

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Being able to challenge our own thoughts can be so powerful! With CBT, I will empower you to rewrite automatic negative thoughts to reduce a variety of symptoms you may be experiencing while improving your self esteem!

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Being able to build upon mindfulness/grounding and coping tools to handle strong emotions can help us move through challenging days.
