Grief, depression, and chronic health challenges can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted, isolated, and unsure how to move forward. You don't have to face it alone. With more than 10 years of experience, I help adults find relief from anxiety and depression, process grief, and navigate life transitions with greater confidence and hope. As a person of color, I understand how culture, identity, and lived experiences shape emotional well-being, and I provide an affirming, culturally responsive space where you can feel safe, understood, and supported. Together, we'll work at your pace to process difficult experiences, strengthen healthy coping skills, and help you reconnect with yourself and the life you want to build.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other in a supportive, nonjudgemental space. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy your current concerns, and the goals you'd like to work toward. I'll answer any questions, review confidentiality and begin creating a treatment plan with you. There's no pressure to share everything at once- we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, heard and accepted. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgement. I work alongside my clients to better understand what they're going through, build on strengths, and find practical ways to navigate life's challenges. I have years of experience supporting people living with depression, grief, life transition, palliative and the emotional impact of complex or chronic health conditions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed or uncertain about the direction your life is taking. perhaps you're facing a difficult decision, adjusting to a new or chronic health condition, or grieving the life you expected. The stress of managing your health while trying to balance relationships, work, or family can feel exhausting. If you're looking for a supportive space to sort through your thoughts, process difficult emotions, and move forward with clarity and confidence, therapy can help. You don't have to figure it all out by yourself.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions and behaviors, especially during times of stress, loss or illness. Many of our coping mechanisms are learned behavior that can leave you stuck. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, challenge unhelpful beliefs and build effective coping strategies that support your overall emotional well0being while navigating life's challenges and health related changes.
