Hello! I am Dr. Efrain Zepeda. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Social Worker. In the past 23 years of working as a mental health professional, one important lesson I have learned is that the most powerful therapeutic intervention is found in the interpersonal experience that occurs in the client-therapist relationship. Together we can analyze the past to co-create a new meaning to achieve healing. I strongly believe that therapy is not about labeling or judging, but rather about personal discovery.

I'm an avid adventurer, having traveled to 20+ countries. I'm a licensed tailwheel (multiengine & seaplane) pilot who loves radial engines and vintage aircraft. In my spare time, you’ll find me hiking, gardening & reading and chasing a house full of boys.

I am familiar with first responders and have proudly been invited to do several ride-alongs with a local Police department. I began my work practices as a therapist in the Bay Area of California and have been serving for 8 years. I went to NDNU for my master's program, earning my Master of Science in clinical psychology. I did my undergraduate degree at Menlo College in Atherton California. Most of my time has been a significant amount of years working with children aged 0-5, in school settings, and with couples. I enjoy engaging in relationship building, providing tools you can apply daily, and also with women who have experienced trauma. I also am an animal lover and enjoy spending time with my Italian Greyhound "Rocco", with my husband and children, hiking, and engaging in meditation during my free time. Hi, I’m Rachel! Do you ever wonder why your kids struggle so much in school, have a hard time making/keeping friends, or have a difficult time following the same daily routines that are expected of them every day? Have you received multiple evaluations of them, but still feel lost in how to parent them? I get it. I’m not only an Autism and ADHD Specialist for both kids and adults ages 5-65yo, but I’m also a mom of neurodivergent kiddos. I work with children/teens/adults with varying presentations, who almost always have some level of anxiety, depression, trauma etc. I’m here to help support you and focus on what matters most. I also work with children and teens who do not have neurodivergent brains, but rather may have behavioral difficulties at home/school; issues with school refusal, significant degrees of anxiety and/or depression, overuse of social media and struggle in their parent/child relationships. I provide both individual and family therapy and believe that rapport with my clients and understanding their personal goals is what will make the most progress. I also specialize in life transitions, assisting teens in moving toward independence and the next steps in young adulthood. This includes career counseling, which I provide to adults of all ages.

Elyse has been licensed since 2000 and provides cognitive behavioral therapy, to young children, teens, adults and families suffering from anxiety and depression. She has a special interest in treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), with a focus on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to address symptoms, as she witnessed its effectiveness with her own daughter. Elyse's experience includes working with children and adolescents and their families/caregivers in school-based settings, out-of-home care. and private practice settings. Additionally, Elyse has training as a Child Development Specialist from Thalians Clinic at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, focusing on supporting families with young children struggling with social-emotional regulation. Mindfulness strategies are utilized to help all clients, including her youngest clients, feel empowered by increasing their self-awareness. Change is not an easy process, as it is often more comfortable to accept what is familiar. The desire to change, (whether it is feeling stuck, relationship issues, life transitions, unexpected circumstances, old habits, or patterns of behaviors), occurs when the pain to remain the same is greater than the discomfort associated with the uncertainty of change. Here you will find a warm, welcoming, collaborative, safe space to embrace the courage to change, heal and become the best version of yourself.

Hi, I'm Dr. Alysha! Are you ready to Empower your Mental Health? By creating a safe place for processing and expression, I support persons on their unique healing journey to strengthen authenticity and resiliency. My overall approach uses psychodynamic talk therapy, offering space to those wanting to explore new perspectives, reframes, and change. When we internalize or suppress our emotions and experiences of adversity, we may be faced with lasting emotional trauma that impacts our entire well-being. However there is power in validation and relatability and that is why I utilize a client-centered, strengths-based method, with consideration for relational, intersectional, and social justice contexts. I don’t consider myself an advice giver, but instead, I will collaborate with you to recognize your choices and help you make the best one for yourself. My objective is for you to feel empowered by reducing emotional burdens, developing coping strategies, identifying resources, and enhancing your strengths. You will be treated with respectful, objective, non-biased assistance. I believe that with the right amount of support, guidance, and compassion, our capabilities are endless. **Please note Couples Therapy is Cash Only at $200 per session. Individual cash sessions are $150**

I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for over 10 years. My Master’s in Social Work focused on Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality and how our different life experiences shape how we navigate our surroundings. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a veteran of the United States Armed Forces, some of my approaches to helping my clients identify their challenges and barriers to their identified problem starts with a person-centered and solution-focused approach to therapy. I recognize a client's right to self-determination, and I want to empower clients I work with to collaboratively come up with their own obtainable short-term and or long-term plans and goals for the present and the future lives they want to live. Let’s further explore together how to use better the tools you’ve been working with and perhaps add additional tools to the toolbox or not.

It has been a challenging two years. COVID came into our lives and changed the way we lived and worked. Many of us spent possibly a year or two in partial isolation, seeing only our closes friends and family members. Now, it is 2024 and we are wanting to get our old style lives back, but this transition has been difficult to accomplish. Anxiety, both social and life skill focused, along with depression, loss of self confidence or self esteem and not knowing where to begin. Many of us have anger over loss time, along with feelings or irritation at ourselves and others about how to go about putting the peices together which was once our true idenitity. Now, as you look in the mirroe, you want to begin to be the brave person you once were. You want to be social, travel and feel the joy again that life used to offer. My work and yours also, is to help you find your confidence to begin your post COVID life. COVID amy be here to stay, but as long as all the necessary precautions are taken, I understand two years is time enough to lose.

We were never taught how to be in a relationship. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. If you want to be in a relationship that last 50 yrs then communication and empathy has to be at the core of a successful partnership. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers. Sometimes our own mental health can influence all of our relationships, and you may need coping techniques for anxiety and or depression type symptoms. I am here to help beit coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.

Some of the issues that I processed with my group members involved anxiety, depression, anger management, and healthy relationships. For over two years I have provided teletherapy for a diverse clientele exhibiting a range of mild to moderate psychological symptoms. We can all feel overwhelmed when we experience one of life's hurdles. At these times, having someone to listen with empathy, and provide a non-judgmental space that promotes self-reflection, stability and growth is extremely empowering. Hi, my name is Jaazar (Jay) Shalabi and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Are you struggling with past traumatic experiences, cycles of depression and/or anxiety? Maybe you are struggling with relationship issues, confidence, low self esteem. Perhaps you are a veteran struggling to deal with integrating back to civi life or take back control of your life once again prior to service. Through direct, unconditional regard with no judgement, we will go through your journey to mental wellness together. You are the pilot, I am your copilot,
