First session
Clients can expect that after approximately 15 to handle the intake and legal aspects of starting therapy we will immediately began delving into your issues and problems. You will find that my approach is practical and goal oriented. Your time is valuable and it is my goal to maximize the use of your time in therapy. It is not unusual to have some homework after the session to be completed over the upcoming week.

Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Was initially trained in CBT while in school and have taken additional courses and certifications sense achieving my license. I use CBT throughout my practice helping people to learn to reframe their thoughts and eliminate false beliefs. Furthermore, I believe that is important for individuals to learn to track, capture and reframe their thoughts.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)
Insomnia a devastating problem for individuals. It can affect your relationships and your work performance. I've been trained and certified in CBT – I. I strictly follow a six week political for the treatment of insomnia. I have successfully treated many clients with this protocol, reducing the need for sleep medication and helping them to live more happy and productive lives.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
-Trained in the use of mindfulness for the reduction of anxiety and in the treatment of addiction. Furthermore, I have had my flow practice for many years. I use a focus based meditation method. This method utilizes all the physical senses and helps the client to stay in the moment. Furthermore, this practice can assist the client in gaining a deeper insight into their own emotional life.
