Hello, and welcome. I'm a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping adults navigate life's challenges with compassion, insight, and practical support. I earned my degree from Chapman University and have been providing therapy for more than five years. I work with adults facing a wide range of personal, emotional, and relational concerns, creating a safe, supportive environment where healing and growth can take place. My goal is to help clients strengthen emotional well-being, develop healthy coping skills, improve problem-solving abilities, and gain greater life satisfaction. Together, we work toward meaningful, lasting change that not only benefits you but also positively impacts your relationships, family, and the lives of those around you. I believe that healing is possible, growth is intentional, and every person has the capacity to create a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Beginning therapy is a courageous step, and my goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing the therapy process, including confidentiality, expectations, and any questions you may have. We'll explore the concerns that brought you to therapy, your personal history, and the life experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges. This initial session is also an opportunity for us to identify your goals, discuss what you hope to gain from therapy, and begin developing a plan that is tailored to your unique needs and strengths. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, share what is important to you, and determine whether you feel our therapeutic relationship is a good fit. Therapy is a collaborative process. My role is to provide a supportive, compassionate, and evidence-based approach that empowers you to gain insight, build effective coping skills, foster resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change
I believe that meaningful healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and compassion. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your experiences at your own pace. I bring empathy, active listening, and clinical expertise to every session while utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. Together, we will identify patterns that may create feeling stuck in situations or emotional places that are difficulty to manage, increase self-awareness, strengthen emotional resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. What sets my approach apart is my belief that therapy is more than simply reduce symptoms—it can equip you with the insight, skills, and confidence to thrive beyond the therapy room. I intentionally help clients understand the why behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so they can make informed, lasting changes rather than relying on temporary solutions. I view healing, and self awareness as an active process of growth. While we will address the challenges that brought you to therapy, we will also build upon your existing strengths, challenge unhelpful patterns, foster self-compassion, and develop practical tools that you can apply in your everyday life. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and results-oriented, empowering you to become an active participant in your own healing journey. Above all, I believe every individual possesses the capacity for growth and transformation. My role is not to "fix" you, but to walk alongside you—offering support, evidence-based guidance, encouragement, and accountability—as you cultivate greater emotional wellness, increased self awareness, healthier relationship with self and others, including the development of skills and tools to navigate through life's difficulties. Our collaborative work can also help you achieve greater alignment between your values, goals, and daily actions, allowing you to live with increased purpose, authenticity, and fulfillment.
I enjoy working with adults who have a genuine desire to grow, gain deeper self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy because they recognize that something needs to change, yet they may feel stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about how to move forward. They are often navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, or patterns that no longer serve them, and they are seeking a healthier, more fulfilling way of living. Although they are motivated to make positive changes, they may not yet have the insight, emotional awareness, practical tools, or support needed to achieve the results they desire. Sometimes the barriers are rooted in past experiences, unhelpful thought patterns, emotional wounds, or simply never having been taught healthier ways to cope, communicate, or care for themselves. My ideal clients are open to self-exploration and willing to engage in the therapeutic process with curiosity, honesty, and a commitment to growth. They understand that meaningful change takes time and are willing to invest in themselves, even when the journey feels challenging. Together, we work to bridge the gap between where you are today and where you want to be. Through increased self-awareness, evidence-based strategies, practical coping skills, and compassionate guidance, I help clients better understand themselves, strengthen emotional resilience, align their choices with their values and goals, and build a life that reflects greater purpose, fulfillment, and lasting well-being

For the past five years, I have had the privilege of helping couples strengthen their relationships, navigate difficult life experiences, and develop healthier ways of connecting with one another. Whether couples are facing communication challenges, conflict, trust concerns, life transitions, or the lasting effects of past experiences, my goal is to provide a safe, balanced, and supportive environment where both partners feel heard, respected, and understood. My approach goes beyond resolving the immediate conflict. Together, we explore the individual and relational factors that contribute to recurring patterns, emotional disconnection, and relationship distress. This includes gaining a deeper understanding of each partner's experiences, communication styles, emotional needs, beliefs, expectations, and the ways past experiences may influence the present relationship. As we increase awareness and understanding, we work collaboratively to strengthen communication, improve emotional connection, rebuild trust when appropriate, enhance problem-solving skills, and develop practical strategies that support a healthier, more fulfilling partnership. Rather than focusing on blame, we focus on understanding, accountability, growth, and creating lasting patterns of connection that extend beyond the therapy session. I believe that healthy relationships are built intentionally. My role is to equip couples with the insight, skills, and tools needed not only to overcome current challenges but also to build a stronger foundation for navigating future obstacles together with greater confidence, empathy, and resilience.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an evidence-based approach that helps individual, and couples strengthen their emotional bond by identifying and changing the patterns that create conflict, distance, and disconnection. Rather than focusing solely on the surface issue, we explore the deeper emotions, unmet needs, and attachment patterns that influence how each persons experiences and response to others. In our work together, I help individuals to slow down difficult interactions so we can better understand what is happening beneath the emotions, and behaivors. Together, we identify recurring cycles, recognize emotional triggers, and explore how past experiences, fears, and unmet needs may be influencing present-day reactions. As awareness grows, individuals often discover that the conflict itself is not the true problem—it is the cycle they have become trapped in. My role is to create a safe, balanced, and supportive environment where the person feel heard, understood, and valued. I guide in expressing vulnerable emotions more effectively, improving emotional responsiveness, and developing healthier ways of communicating and connecting. As they begin to understand self or one another on a deeper emotional level, they are better able to replace criticism, defensiveness, withdrawal, or resentment with empathy, trust, and emotional security. My approach to EFT is collaborative and intentional. While we work to reduce relationship , and personal distress, we also focus on building the insight, communication skills, and emotional awareness needed to create a stronger, more resilient relationship with self and others. The goal is not simply to resolve struggles but to strengthen the emotional connection that allows individuals and couples to navigate future challenges with greater confidence, compassion, and understanding.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals develop practical skills to better understand and manage their emotions, navigate life's challenges, and build healthier relationships. While DBT was originally developed to support individuals with intense emotional distress, its skills are highly effective for anyone seeking to improve emotional regulation, cope with stress, strengthen relationships, and respond more effectively to difficult situations. In our work together, we focus on understanding the connection between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences. Rather than simply reacting to difficult emotions or circumstances, you'll learn how to respond with greater awareness, intention, and confidence. We will identify patterns that may be contributing to distress while building practical strategies to help you navigate challenges more effectively. My approach to DBT is collaborative, compassionate, and personalized. I integrate evidence-based DBT skills with insight-oriented exploration to help you understand not only what is happening, but also why it is happening. As your self-awareness grows, we work together to develop healthier ways of managing emotions, tolerating distress, improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, and making choices that align with your values and long-term goals. Throughout therapy, I emphasize the balance between acceptance and change—the foundation of DBT. We acknowledge your experiences with compassion while also identifying opportunities for growth. You do not have to choose between accepting yourself and becoming a healthier version of yourself; both can exist together. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms but to equip you with lifelong skills that foster emotional resilience, healthier relationships, increased confidence, and lasting personal growth. Therapy becomes a place where you gain the tools, insight, and support needed to move beyond surviving and begin living with greater purpose, balance, and emotional well-being.
Brainspotting is a trauma-informed therapeutic approach that supports the processing of difficult emotions, distressing experiences, and unresolved experiences that may continue to impact thoughts, behaviors, relationships, and overall emotional well-being. This approach is based on the understanding that the brain and body often hold onto experiences that have not been fully processed, even when a person intellectually understands what happened. In our work together, Brainspotting provides an opportunity to gently explore experiences that may feel emotionally stuck, overwhelming, or difficult to put into words. By identifying specific points of focus and increasing awareness of internal experiences, we allow space for deeper emotional processing, insight, and healing. My approach to Brainspotting is compassionate, collaborative, and paced according to your individual needs. I prioritize creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where you remain in control of the process. We work together to identify areas of distress, explore emotional responses, and support your brain’s natural ability to process and integrate experiences in a way that promotes healing. Brainspotting can be helpful for individuals working through trauma, anxiety, emotional distress, painful memories, grief, stress, performance blocks, and experiences that continue to create emotional or physical responses in the present. Rather than focusing only on understanding an experience, Brainspotting allows us to address the deeper emotional and physiological responses connected to it. My goal is to help you move toward greater emotional freedom by increasing self-awareness, reducing the impact of unresolved experiences, and strengthening your ability to respond to life with greater balance, confidence, and resilience.
