What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session there will be introductions, an explanation of therapy guidelines, and exploring current challenges as well as other factors that may be contributing to reasons for coming to therapy. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions and share about what you would like from your own therapy experience.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I create a safe space for individuals to share experiences, concerns and challenges. I use a variety of methods to assist clients with discovering, managing self and or, difficult events, new challenges and problem solving that helps produce measured desired results. Opportunities will be created to explore and challenge self in developing new awareness, practice new techniques and coping skills as well as widening and developing different perspectives to enhance growth and desired changes.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

I’ve been using Couples Counseling in my practice for the past four years. It’s helped dozens of clients manage the health of their relationship while working through difficult events and problem solving. We’ll use Couples Counseling to discover factors that contribute to current challenges individually and collectively. How they impact your relationship and potential ways to work through them.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I’ve been using DBT in my practice for the past five years. It’s helped clients challenge reoccurring unwanted emotional responses and manage their triggers. We’ll use DBT methods to bring awareness to how your emotions interact with thought patterns and how to regulate and develop ways to eliminate or work through challenging moments. This will help you lead with more self control and the ability to problem solve for better out comes.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past 15 years. It’s helped clients manage challenging reoccurring thoughts, behaviors and manage their depression and anxiety. We’ll use CBT methods to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. That information will increase your knowledge and create a plat form to introduce change your thinking patterns, which will help you develop an increased management of self.
