Hello, I remember a joke from sometime ago that goes something like this: "Three friends were walking together one day, and one remarked, 'It's windy,' Another responded, 'No. It's Thursday.' Still the other answered, 'I'm thirsty, too. Let's have a cup of tea.'" Is it that way for you sometime? Finding that you are not really being heard and understood? I get it! I work with clients to help them find their strengths and abilities that assist them in better communicating their needs to themselves and to others which can lead to better outcomes in overall functioning in their lives. If that sounds like your experience, we can talk about it together.
In our first session together, we begin with brief introductions, reason for entering therapy, goals, and history in order to develop a plan that offers change.
My greatest strength as a provider is my ability to connect well with the individuals with whom I work.
Working with clients to understand development of unhealthy patterns and useful ways to interrupt and replace.
