Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my Masters from California State University, Fullerton, and have been practicing for 5 years. I help couples and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma related symptoms navigate these different challenges. I will accept you, validate you, challenge you, but most importantly, give you a space to be all that you are.
In our first session, I will introduce myself, answer any questions pertaining to my experience, and get to know who you are and what brings you to therapy. The rapport between a therapist and client is critical in the success of treatment, so we will determine if we are the right fit for one another, and if so, we will establish goals and begin working on them.
I have a way of connecting with those I work with. I do my best to show up authentically, so those I work with can do the same.
I have been utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my five years in practice. I introduce clients to the Cognitive Model so they can identify errors of thinking and the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
I have been utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with clients as a practical way to assist them with regulating emotions and navigating interpersonal relationships.
I have completed training in Gottman's Method and have been utilizing The Sound Relationship House Theory for three years. I have found this method to be helpful in with couple's and with individuals who have relationship challenges.
I consider myself to be Eclectic with my approach. I never want to practice with a "one size fits all" approach. I assess who I am working with and cater my approach to their needs.
I have been utilizing Person-Centered Therapy for about five years. I believe we are the experts at our life and with the right support, we can become the best versions of ourselves.
