At the core of this voyage we call life, shines a light of compassion and direction in the sphere of mental well-being. As a devoted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my pledge is to assist individuals, families, and couples as they navigate towards emotional strength and health. If you're grappling with feelings of being overwhelmed, anxious, or simply not feeling like yourself lately, remember, you're not alone in this. Initiating the journey towards seeking assistance might seem intimidating, yet it embodies remarkable courage.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start by getting to know each other. I'll ask questions to understand what brings you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and any concerns or goals you have. This is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have about the therapy process or my approach. We'll discuss your personal history, current challenges, and any significant events or relationships in your life. I'll listen attentively and without judgment as you share your experiences and feelings. Together, we'll begin to explore potential strategies and approaches that may help you cope with your difficulties and work towards your goals. Depending on your needs and preferences, we may start practicing specific coping skills or techniques right away, or we may take some time to explore deeper underlying issues. By the end of the session, I hope you'll feel more understood, supported, and hopeful about the possibility of positive change. And remember, therapy is a collaborative process, so we'll work together to tailor our approach to best meet your unique needs and goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strengths lie in empathy, active listening, and a collaborative approach to therapy. Empathy allows me to deeply understand and connect with my clients' experiences, fostering a safe and supportive environment where they feel heard and validated. Active listening enables me to fully engage with my clients, paying attention not only to their words but also to their emotions and nonverbal cues. This helps me to gain a comprehensive understanding of their concerns and experiences. I also value collaboration in therapy, working together with my clients as partners their journey towards healing and growth. I believe that each individual is the expert of their own life, and I strive to empower my clients to take an active role in their therapy process.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

In my practice, I've come to recognize that numerous individuals encounter moments of confusion, hopelessness, and distress across various life circumstances. Often, the question arises: what triggers these emotions? Employing a psychodynamic approach, my clients delve into their past experiences, particularly those from childhood, to understand how their present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are rooted in these early encounters. Together, in sessions, we cultivate heightened awareness and self-understanding, delving into the depths of childhood experiences to foster personal growth and facilitate healing.
