My name is Samantha Sims, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience serving adults and older adults. I’ve spent my entire career in Mental Health, working in a variety of roles that have shaped my ability to provide empathetic, patient‑centered care.
I am certified in CBT for Depression, a credential I earned while serving at the Birmingham VA Medical Center, where I supported veterans in several clinical positions. I also have training in Motivational Interviewing and Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy. Throughout my work in Mental Health, I’ve supported individuals living with severe mental illness—including Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder—as well as veterans navigating PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression. I’ve also worked with individuals and couples facing major life transitions or communication challenges that make it difficult to stay connected to the people they love.
For older adults, my work has included helping seniors manage the emotional impact of life changes, cope with depression or anxiety, and find practical strategies to address cognitive decline—such as memory loss—while maintaining independence and dignity.
No matter where your experiences fit within what I’ve described, you can trust that with Inner Truth Clinical Services, I will meet you exactly where you are. Together, we will focus on what matters most to you and work toward a life that feels more manageable, grounded, and meaningful.

In my practice, I create a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. I draw on evidence-based therapies, including ACT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
I’m Nicole Lewis, LCSW, LICSW-S, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, dedicated to supporting Black women in their mental health and personal growth journeys. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore emotions, process past experiences, and develop actionable tools for personal growth.
I work with women who often feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or stuck in patterns that hold them back. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood, develop practical tools, and move toward meaningful change. My Christian faith informs my practice, and I welcome the integration of faith and spirituality when desired.
I believe therapy should provide more than a place to talk. It should help you understand what is happening, why it is happening, how it is affecting your life, and how to develop healthier ways of responding. I work predominantly with adult men experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, depression, and major life transitions. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to your individual goals, with an emphasis on the whole person rather than simply treating symptoms.
I have worked in the counseling field for more than 14 years across a variety of settings and have been a licensed professional counselor since 2015. I earned my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, as well as a Master’s in Religion and Christian Leadership, which provides additional preparation for clients who want to explore spiritual concerns or integrate their Christian faith into counseling.
I returned to school after getting married and having children, so I’m no stranger to balancing responsibilities, relationships, and stress. Those experiences have helped shape my belief that our mental and emotional health cannot always be separated from the other areas of our lives. Relationships, physical health, work, responsibilities, values, and spiritual concerns can all influence how we experience and respond to life's challenges.
My goal is to help you develop greater insight, build resilience, improve your emotional and relational well-being, and make meaningful changes that carry into everyday life. I would be honored to be invited into your story.

My name is Jennifer Bailey, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Drama Therapist. I help clients identify and pursue the goals that lead to a life filled with meaning, pride, and contentment.
Now, you may be wondering: “What exactly is a Registered Drama Therapist (RDT)?” Simply put, it means I integrate elements of theater and creative expression into the therapeutic process. With me, you have options. You might choose a traditional talk-therapy session to explore your thoughts, emotions, and goals. Or, if words don’t feel like enough, you might try something more experiential—writing, movement, role-play, or even reimagining and practicing conversations that keep replaying in your mind.
Talk therapy is a powerful tool for growth, but sometimes it takes more than words to truly process what’s happening inside. That’s where creativity can open new doors. Whether through conversation, movement, sound, or artistic expression, I provide a space where you can choose what feels most healing and helpful.
I would be honored to support you—whether that’s working toward personal goals, processing difficult emotions, or making positive and lasting changes in your life.
Hi, I’m Dr. Raven Scott, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes that one of the most important parts of therapy is having a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My approach is empathic, collaborative, and person-centered. I strive to create an environment where you can show up authentically, without judgment and without feeling like you need to have all the answers before you begin.
I have over six years of experience working with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other mental health challenges. I recognize that no two people experience these challenges in exactly the same way, which is why I tailor therapy to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. When appropriate, I incorporate evidence-based interventions such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support your individual goals.
I believe therapy works best as a partnership. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you—offering support, empathy, and clinical guidance while honoring your autonomy throughout the therapeutic process. Together, we’ll create a space that honors who you are, where you are, and where you hope to go.

You appear calm and put together on the outside, internally you feel overwhelmed and exhausted. You've been doing everything you can to keep things together so no one notices how much you're struggling, but lately it feels harder to manage. You're doing your best to hold on, yet you worry that one more stressful situation could push you past your limit.
You continue to smile, show up, and tell yourself you're okay, even when deep down you know you're not. Because you look “fine” to others, people may not realize how heavy things have become for you. You often minimize your own pain by comparing yourself to others, convincing yourself that you should just be grateful because “others have it worse.” As a result, prioritizing your emotional well-being can feel selfish or undeserved.
If this describes you, and you are ready to stop overthinking, you are no longer willing to put your own needs on the backburner, you are ready to silence the inner critic, work on your personal and/or professional relationships, and you want to stop just going through the motions, we should talk.
I have the credentials that every other therapist has earned, representing the commitment of a competent practitioner. However, its important to note that my caring coupled with my competence makes me who I am.

Let's walk together to the light.

Hello, my name is Shurla and I am a Board Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Founder of Restorative Thoughts Counsel. I received a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Oakwood University. With over a decade of experience in social services and more than seven years dedicated to mental health care, I am deeply committed to fostering healing and growth.
I am a licensed independent practice-level clinical social worker. I have a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work DCSW. I have dedicated my career to working in behavioral health treatment. I have worked within the Department of Defense Schools in Europe and Asia. I have worked with Active Duty members, Veterans and their families. Prior to joining the Civil Service, I practiced mental health within the civilian community, my focus there was substance abuse, domestic violence and and a variety of mental health issues working with adolescents and adults. My strongest ability lies in helping a client identify strengths and weaknesses while guiding them to identify goals and interventions that will work specifically for them. The most challenging part of therapy is believing it will make a difference. The best way to overcome that hurdle is to see successful outcomes.
Clinical experience has taught me that if you are willing to do the work, you will see results. Using the appropriate interventions, combined with mutual openness, respect and trust will enable you to overcome obstacles and achieve goals you didn't believe possible. Through years of dedicated work with all age groups, life experiences and extremely challenging circumstances, I have developed a strong sense of commitment in creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing, self-awareness and growth.

***Please note: Appointments after 3pm CST are reserved for clients ages 11–18 (middle or high school).
I help people who are used to being the strong one but feel overwhelmed, mentally drained, or stuck.

I work with individuals ( children, teens, young adults, adults and older adults), couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and those seasons when you simply feel stuck or overwhelmed.
My approach is warm, honest, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical tools to move forward. I’m compassionate when you need support and willing to gently challenge you when growth requires it.
Whether you’re trying to heal from something that happened years ago, navigate something happening right now, or simply become more intentional about the life you want, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. We’ll work together, one step at a time.
Hi everyone, welcome to your safe space! Take a breath, relax, and allow me to introduce myself. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving the states of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. I have a passion for helping clients learn & master healthy coping strategies that will help them better manage their symptoms. In this thing called life, we often face challenges that can seemingly feel overwhelming. Rest assured you are not alone; millions struggle daily in finding ways to cope. I am a proud graduate of the University of Georgia Graduate School (MSW) and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (BSW).
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with nine years of experience providing counseling across community mental health centers, school-based settings, and private practice. Growing up in a rural town with limited access to care, I witnessed firsthand the barriers many people face when trying to receive support. That experience shaped my commitment to delivering accessible, culturally responsive, and effective treatment. Since 2019, I’ve offered telehealth services alongside in-person sessions, ensuring clients receive quality care—wherever they are.
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or emotionally exhausted from constantly caring for others while neglecting their own needs. If you’re caring for an aging parent, spouse, or another loved one over the age of 18, you don’t have to carry that stress alone.
My name is Clint, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Florida and Alabama. I specialize in supporting caregivers of older adults and individuals with disabilities over the age of 18 who may be struggling with burnout, anxiety, guilt, stress, or feeling emotionally drained.
As a former primary caregiver for my father, I understand firsthand the emotional and practical challenges caregiving can bring. Balancing medical appointments, family responsibilities, work demands, and the emotional weight of supporting a loved one can leave little time to care for yourself. Since 2011, I’ve worked alongside caregivers and families to help reduce burnout, build healthier boundaries, improve coping skills, and create more balance in daily life.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on practical tools you can use outside of sessions. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, strength's based and supportive therapy to help clients manage stress, navigate difficult emotions, and reconnect with their own well-being.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. The first session is simply an opportunity for us to talk about what’s been weighing on you and explore whether working together feels like a good fit — with no pressure or expectations.
If you’re ready for support, I’d be honored to work alongside you.
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. For the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, and other struggles. I know how heavy life can feel sometimes, and my passion is to create a safe, encouraging space where you can find support and hope. My heart is to help you uncover your strengths, build healthy tools, and take steps toward the life you want. Healing is possible and if you're ready to take that first step, I’d be honored to be part of your journey.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in practice for 24 years. I have worked with all ages of clients and enjoy working with people to help them realize that we are all dealing with something and sometimes we need help from another to gain a different perspective, especially when overwhelming situations arise. I believe that what we think affects what we do. When we apply this with mindfulness, we can begin to see how our thoughts affect our emotions, physical body and behavior. Together, we can come up with a treatment plan that will guide us together to help you approach situations you are dealing with in a different way.
Hi there! I’m Tabitha Simpson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel like a safe and supportive conversation. I’ve worked in a variety of mental health settings and enjoy using an integrated care approach that looks at the whole person—mind, body, and environment.

I work with individuals who may feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or impacted by past experiences, and are ready for change—even if they’re not sure where to begin. I provide a safe, supportive, and culturally affirming space where you can be heard, understood, and empowered.
Using practical, evidence-based approaches, I help you develop the tools to manage your emotions, navigate challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I am committed to collecting evidenced based "tools for my toolbox" to aid those grappling with finding the new normal after their world has shifted. I most love helping people find language to describe their losses, often when there has been difficulty finding the words, inspiring people to find hope again, and facilitate the development of a plan to move forward in a way that both honors their experiences and embraces the future.
I take an action-oriented, collaborative approach to therapy. I utilize a combination of psychoeducation, storytelling, and evidenced-based interventions to offer meaningful insight to support clients’ healing. I strongly believe that rock bottom is the foundation upon which we can rebuild our lives. We do regular check-ins to review progress along the way. Our goal is not to change the past, but instead to find some relief from symptoms that impact daily functioning. I will solicit feedback regularly during sessions for takeaways to gauge progress and curate treatment interventions based on what is most engaging and productive for the individual client.

It has been an honor to support elderly individuals managing grief, the fear of mortality and aging, adapting to retirement, addressing social isolation, and experiencing a range of mental health challenges. I have also had the pleasure of supporting single mothers as they navigate the emotional impact of motherhood, mental health issues, financial stress, and building a support system.
In my practice, I do not rely solely on one specific theory but rather draw upon different theoretical perspectives. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapies, Reminiscence Therapy, and Grief Therapy.
I am a clinical social worker with a decade of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults through life's most pressing challenges. Before transitioning into clinical practice, I worked within organizations helping employees navigate workplace stress and the broader life issues that often accompany it. My own life transition during that time deepened my appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support, and I now draw on those transferable skills alongside my academic and work experiences as a master's in social work and doctorate in organizational behavior professional. I bring a compassionate, integrative, and culturally responsive approach that meets each client where they are, helping you build meaningful coping skills, deepen self-understanding, and move toward sustainable change.
My name is Bill Massey and I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in
west central Georgia and east central Alabama. I graduated from the University of Georgia's MSW program in 1993 and became an LCSW in 1996. I have worked in home health and hospice for most of my career with a strong emphasis on geriatrics and dementia care. I have experience in inpatient psychiatric settings and residential services as well.
I am looking to fill a niche that I have seen wanting attention for some time. For many years I have seen elders and their families in their homes but had to refer out any counseling other than crisis intervention to outpatient therapists. The problem is that I have been referring homebound people for outpatient therapy. This is not effective for many reasons.
With the help of Grow Therapy, I intend to offer my services of counseling and case management to people in the comfort of their own homes. I will become a mobile mental health provider to serve a population that has gone largely underserved for all too long. My coverage area for in-home therapy will be Lee, Russell, and Chambers counties in Alabama as well as Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Harris Counties in Georgia.
I am opening up limited appointment times for virtual counseling as of mid May 2024.

I am passionate about helping people heal from trauma, specifically unprocessed trauma that has resulted in debilitating PTSD symptoms. I have training in prolonged exposure therapy for PTSD, sex therapy, experience working with clients with body image issues, and clients struggling with chronic illness. My work focuses on helping clients heal from trauma, decrease PTSD symptoms that leave them unable to function, and develop a deeper knowledge of, understanding of, and relationship with themselves. I am knowledgeable, supportive of, and love working with individuals in the polyamory and kink communities.
