I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience, helping individuals who are used to being the strong one but feel overwhelmed, mentally drained, or stuck. I take a practical, down-to-earth approach to therapy—helping you gain clarity, shift patterns, and feel more in control of your life without overcomplicating the process. Together, we focus on what’s actually working and what’s keeping you stuck, so you can move forward with more confidence and ease.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for you to share what’s been going on and what you want to change—without pressure or judgment. We’ll start identifying what’s contributing to how you’re feeling and create a clear, realistic plan for moving forward. You’ll leave with a better understanding of what’s happening and practical steps you can begin using right away.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strength is helping you move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling clear and in control. I balance being supportive with being direct, so you don’t feel stuck in the same patterns. Clients often come to me when they’re tired of holding everything together on their own and are ready for real change—not just insight, but results. I help you make sense of what you’re feeling and turn it into something you can actually work with.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are used to being the strong one but feel overwhelmed, mentally drained, or stuck. You may be navigating anxiety or life changes and are ready for clarity, practical tools, and real relief—not just a place to vent. If you’re tired of holding it all together on your own, you’re in the right place. In our work together, you can expect a space that is supportive, honest, and focused on helping you feel better—not just understood, but equipped. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable while still creating meaningful progress.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use a solution-focused approach to help you move forward without getting stuck in the problem. Together, we’ll identify what’s already working, build on your strengths, and create clear, realistic steps toward the changes you want. This approach is especially helpful if you’re feeling stuck but ready for practical progress.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. We don’t just talk about it as we focus on practical, real-life changes you can use immediately so you feel more in control and less mentally drained.

Trauma Informed Care

I create a space where you don’t have to minimize, explain away, or push past what you’ve been through. We’ll explore how past experiences may still be shaping your thoughts, reactions, and relationships at a pace that feels safe and manageable. The goal isn’t to relive everything, but to help you feel more grounded, in control, and no longer driven by patterns that no longer serve you.

Strength-Based

I don’t see you as broken or in pieces. I see you as the complete picture! Together, we’ll identify the strengths you already have and use them intentionally to help you navigate challenges, make confident decisions, and create lasting change without losing your authentic self in the process.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I use CPT and Prolonged Exposure (PE) to help you process difficult experiences that may still be shaping how you think, feel, and see yourself. Together, we’ll identify and challenge the beliefs that came out of those moments so you can move forward with more clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom.
