Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Masters from the University West Florida and have been practicing for 13 years. I have served individuals in an outpatient and residential setting. I prefer to provide services in an outpatient setting as it allows me the opportunity to observe the growth of my patients over time. I help adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and other challenges to live the life they deserve.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with adults for the past 13 years and have developed skills to assess and determine the source of the problem you are experience. It is important you feel safe and not judged during his process. I listen to my patients and assist them to identify specific skills that will be useful for them as they learn to cope with their symptoms.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with adults of all ages. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about life in general.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Depression and anxiety can be the result of irrational beliefs which have developed due to experiences throughout our life. However, just because we believe something doesn't mean it is true. We can modify these beliefs resulting in decreased anxiety and depressive symptoms by being mindful, practicing coping skills, and engaging in cognitive restructuring. It is hard work but well worth the effort.
