Healing is a Journey—Let’s Walk it Together I believe everyone deserves a life defined by more than just their struggles. As an LCSW with 14 years of experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping adults move through the fog of anxiety and depression toward a place of clarity and purpose. My approach is deeply rooted in the outpatient model, as it allows us the time and space to observe your progress in the "real world." Whether you are facing a long-standing challenge or a new season of difficulty, I am here to offer a steady hand and clinical expertise to help you build a future you’re excited to live in.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

What to Expect: Our First Session Starting therapy is a significant step, and I want you to feel as comfortable as possible. Our first meeting is about building a foundation of trust. Introductions: we’ll start with brief introductions so you can get a feel for my style and I can learn a bit about you. Discovery: We’ll dive into the specific challenges you’re currently facing. The Roadmap: Using what we discuss, I will create a tailored plan designed specifically for our follow-up sessions, ensuring our work together is focused on helping you reach the life you deserve.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Expertise in Depression, Anxiety, and Life Transitions With 15 years of clinical experience, I have dedicated my career to helping adults navigate their most difficult seasons to reach the life they truly deserve. A graduate of the University of West Florida, my background spans both residential and outpatient settings. This dual perspective has allowed me to sharpen my ability to quickly assess and determine the root source of the challenges you are experiencing. My Therapeutic Philosophy I believe that true growth happens when you feel safe and entirely non-judged. My approach is built on three core pillars: Deep Listening: You are the expert on your life. I listen intently to ensure you feel heard and understood from our very first meeting. Skill Building: Together, we will identify and implement specific, practical skills tailored to your unique needs, helping you effectively cope with symptoms and regain control. Long-Term Growth: I prefer the outpatient setting because it allows me to walk alongside you over time, witnessing your progress as you integrate healing into your daily life. Our First Session Taking the first step can be daunting, so I prioritize clarity. We will begin with brief introductions to get comfortable, then dive into the specific challenges you’re facing. This discovery process allows me to create a tailored plan for our follow-up sessions, ensuring our work together is purposeful and effective.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Are You Feeling Stuck? Many of the adults I work with share a common frustration: they are ready for change, but they don’t know where to start. You might feel overwhelmed by the demands of daily life, paralyzed by a constant hum of anxiety, or weighed down by a depression that makes even simple tasks feel monumental. You know you want a better life—the life you deserve—but you feel like you’re missing the "toolbox" to make it a reality. I specialize in helping adults who are: Eager for Improvement: You have the desire to grow, but you need a structured path to get there. Feeling Overwhelmed: Life feels "too much," and the tools you’ve used in the past are no longer working. Anxious or Stuck: You find yourself overthinking or unable to move forward due to fear or exhaustion. How We Bridge the Gap In our sessions, we don’t just talk about the "stuckness"—we actively work to resolve it. Drawing on 14 years of clinical experience, I help you: Identify the Source: We’ll determine exactly what is keeping you in this cycle. Build Your Toolbox: We will identify and practice specific, actionable skills that help you manage symptoms in real-time. Witness Your Growth: Because I work in an outpatient setting, we have the benefit of time. I get to see you apply these tools, hit milestones, and gradually transform "stuck" into "steady progress."

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Depression and anxiety can be the result of irrational beliefs which have developed due to experiences throughout our life. However, just because we believe something doesn't mean it is true. We can modify these beliefs resulting in decreased anxiety and depressive symptoms by being mindful, practicing coping skills, and engaging in cognitive restructuring. It is hard work but well worth the effort.
