About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges, transitions, and personal growth. In my private practice, I offer a warm, thoughtfully supportive environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and valued. My approach is personalized and integrative, helping clients gain insight, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session, clients can expect a warm, collaborative conversation focused on understanding their concerns, goals, and unique experiences. We will begin establishing a therapeutic relationship, discuss what brought them to therapy, and identify areas they would like to address. Clients will leave with greater clarity about the therapy process and an individualized direction for treatment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring over 13 years of clinical experience, a strong assessment and diagnostic foundation, and a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to each session. My practice integrates evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions while considering the whole person. I build collaborative therapeutic relationships that promote safety, insight, emotional regulation, resilience, and meaningful, sustainable change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are seeking greater self-awareness, emotional well-being, and meaningful personal growth. They may be navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I work best with clients who are open to self-exploration and motivated to develop insight, resilience, and lasting change. Clients who would like to explore all their options navigating through life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I will incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my private practice by helping clients identify and understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through evidence-based interventions such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, problem-solving, and coping-skills development, I will support clients in challenging unhelpful thought patterns, developing healthier perspectives, and making meaningful behavioral changes to improve their overall well-being.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I will integrate a person-centered and humanistic approach into my clinical practice by providing a therapeutic environment grounded in empathy, authenticity, unconditional positive regard, and respect for each client's autonomy and individual experience. I will utilize a collaborative, strengths-based approach to facilitate self-exploration, increase self-awareness, support emotional processing, and promote personal growth. Treatment will be individualized to the client's presenting concerns, goals, values, and capacity for change while fostering a safe and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship.

Psychodynamic

I will integrate psychodynamic principles into my clinical practice to explore the underlying psychological processes, relational patterns, and past experiences that may contribute to current emotional distress and behavioral functioning. Through exploration of unconscious processes, defense mechanisms, attachment patterns, interpersonal dynamics, and recurring themes, I will support clients in developing greater insight into the factors influencing their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Treatment will emphasize the therapeutic relationship as a means of facilitating self-awareness, emotional processing, and meaningful, sustainable change.

Supportive

I will integrate supportive therapy into my clinical practice to provide clients with a structured, therapeutic environment focused on emotional support, stabilization, and adaptive functioning. Through active listening, validation, encouragement, psychoeducation, strengths-based interventions, and collaborative problem-solving, I will help clients develop effective coping strategies, enhance resilience, and improve their ability to manage current stressors and emotional challenges. Interventions will be individualized according to the client's presenting concerns, treatment goals, strengths, and level of functioning.

Trauma Informed Care

I will integrate trauma-informed care into my clinical practice by recognizing the impact of trauma and adverse experiences on psychological, physiological, relational, and behavioral functioning. Treatment will emphasize safety, trust, collaboration, client autonomy, empowerment, and cultural humility while minimizing the potential for retraumatization. I will utilize trauma-informed assessment and evidence-based interventions to support emotional regulation, stabilization, adaptive coping, and recovery while remaining attentive to each client's individual history, strengths, needs, and readiness for treatment.
