Hi, there. I'm glad you found my Profile! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Tennessee. I've been a therapist for over three years and worked in a variety of settings. My favorite part about being a therapist is empowering the clients I work with to gain insight into their emotional experiences, grow their toolbox, and make changes to live a more fulfilling life!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will get to know one another and determine if we will be a good fit therapeutically. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, what you would like to get out of the experience, and how we can work together to make that happen.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I know therapy is hard work and I feel privileged to be a part of every person’s journey that decides to share their time and story with me. As a provider, I show up with compassion and non-judgement. I believe no one is inherently flawed; instead, we all have things that have happened to us that shape who we are.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence greatly influence one another and how we navigate our lives. Utilizing CBT, I work with clients to recognize and challenge unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to make desired changes.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Oftentimes suffering is beyond our control. Utilizing ACT, I support clients in being able to be present with and accept uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations and live a life in alignment with their goals and values.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

When emotions feel out of control, DBT can provide helpful skills to practice mindfulness, tolerate distress, regulate emotions, and improve interpersonal relationships. I work with clients to learn these skills and implement them in their daily lives.
