Starting therapy can feel empowering, confusing, or even intimidating—and it’s worth taking a moment to recognize the courage it takes to take this first step toward caring for your mental health. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where you can explore challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-care, and more. My goal is to help you strengthen communication and boundaries with yourself and others so that you can improve your quality of life and move toward the future you envision. Therapy is not just about overcoming obstacles—it’s also about personal growth. Together, we’ll clarify your goals and identify strategies to help you move toward them, whether that means change over the next month, six months, or a year. You’ll leave our sessions with practical insights and “next steps” you can put into action right away. I believe life’s purpose isn’t simply to be happy, but to find meaning—and within that meaning, joy emerges. While the journey isn’t always easy, it can be transformative. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addictions Professional, Internationally Certified Drug Counselor, and Behavior Analyst. I take a strength-based approach, helping you use your unique abilities to address challenges. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to empower you in creating lasting change. Most importantly, I bring a relaxed, compassionate, and trustworthy presence, fostering a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe and supported.

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am a former school counselor who spent over 20 years helping students and their families work corporately to identify and manage feelings and behaviors that impacted daily functioning. I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in teaching and completed my graduate work in counseling at Florida International University and Barry University. My passion for being in this field comes from believing that every individual should have a safe space to work through life challenges while feeling supported.

Welcome! I know how hard it can be to reach out for support. If you're here, I want you to know that you're not alone and you don't have to figure everything out by yourself. I'm someone who believes in the power of feeling seen, heard, and understood. I believe that therapy should feel like a real conversation where you can breathe, think, and be real, not a clinical checklist. I believe you deserve a space where you don't have to pretend, perform, or be "put together". Therapy with me is about helping you feel safe enough to be your real, unfiltered self. The parts that feel strong and the parts that feel messy. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida and for over 6 years I've helped adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. A lot of the people that I work with are tired of wearing masks- the "strong one", the "fun one", the "reliable one". Underneath, they feel overwhelmed, anxious, numb, or disconnected from who they used to be. I help create a space where you can take those masks off without fear. You don't have to know the right words. You don't have to have everything figured out. You just have to show up as you are. Together, we'll work through what you're carrying and build tools that feel realistic and fit your real life. If you're tired of pretending and ready for a space where you can just be real, I'd love to support you.

Hi, I’m Magalis, but you can call me Maggie. If you are navigating trauma, addiction, or a major loss, you don't have to carry it alone. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) LCSW, I specialize in addiction and recovery, correctional mental health, trauma therapy, and couples counseling. I also provide traditional care for depression and anxiety grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. Whether you are legally mandated to treatment or seeking personal growth, my greatest strength is my ability to truly listen. I help you identify the subtle patterns in your thinking and behavior that fuel your distress. By bringing these underlying patterns to light, I help you experience those powerful "a-ha" moments—empowering you to make conscious, lasting changes and build the life you want to live. I am someone who believes all people have the capacity to heal, grow, and live fully when given the right support. I recognize that life has many challenges and sometimes we just need help in facing the obstacles in our way. I became interested in psychology and understanding people after my brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia and I saw a drastic change in who he was as a person. This journey of trying to understand people, started in middle school, continued through college where I fell in love with Psychology, and into my masters program where I got a degree in Social Work. I started a career as a mental health therapist in 2019, and I continue my journey of learning and growing to better serve the needs of my clients now and in the future.

I work with the client's envisioned goals in mind first and foremost. I want to be able to build upon someone's strengths and eliminate feelings of inferiority. I like to help people work towards the best version of themselves and to gain independence by pushing past their limitations. If you find that you don't have the confidence to approach life and accomplish your goals then let's have a conversation and make this possible for you again. Reaching out for support is a courageous first step, and my goal is to provide a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with ADHD, navigating depression, processing trauma, coping with grief, or adjusting to a major life transition, you don't have to face it alone. Together, we'll identify what's getting in the way of the life you want and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and resilience. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I work with clients facing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized because I believe there is no "one-size-fits-all" path to healing. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions to meet each client where they are. I have a special passion for helping adults navigate anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I especially enjoy working with clients who want to better understand themselves, build healthier coping skills, strengthen self-esteem, and create more balanced, fulfilling relationships. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and equipped to handle life’s challenges with greater clarity and resilience. My hope is that therapy becomes more than a place to talk—it becomes a place to heal, grow, and discover your own strengths. Wherever you are in your journey, I'll meet you with compassion, understanding, and practical support so that together we can build the life you want, one step at a time.

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, anger and emotion dysregulation difficulties, communication skill development, the development of coping skills to help with adjusting to life stressors, and psychological testing. Therapy clients tend to describe me as down to earth, nonjudgmental, direct, and never boring. I'm also the type of therapist who doesn't mind cursing, and I make frequent references to memes. My therapy dog Diamond will make an appearance during sessions, too :) Background: I earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and a minor degree in Women’s Studies from Stockton University in Pomona, New Jersey. I then earned a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, followed by a master’s and doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My work here included pre-employment psychological evaluations with police and public safety candidates, post-critical incident debriefings, fitness for duty evaluations, and fitness for duty consultations. I also conducted psychological evaluations with reality television cast member candidates, coping skills trainings with reality television cast members, and a mental health first aid training program designed for reality television production crew members. Prior to this, I completed my clinical internship with Nystrom & Associates in New Brighton, Minnesota where I conducted psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults referred for a variety of reasons. I also provided mental health services to adolescents and individuals referred by the courts for anger management and/or substance abuse.

Welcome, This probably isn’t the first step you’ve taken on the path towards your own self-actualization. Often, we get really good at getting by and solving the problem on our own. Sometimes we figure it out, and other times we don’t. Or it works for a while, until we hit a new phase. Or maybe, it’s just too difficult to do the dishes when the world is on fire. I see that you’ve been trying, and I see that life is fucking hard. You may not have reached out to someone before now because a safe space wasn't available. You may have felt outcasted, or othered, or morally wrong for feeling what you're feeling. I am here to tell you that your experience is morally neutral, and you deserve a place to process it. When we get stuck solving problems on our own, we often become rooted in these complex systems we’ve created, yet to be unearthed. These existed long before we had any say in the matter, likely from early childhood development. But now you are in control. You get to decide what stays and what has decayed. My task is to be a mirror, to help you see the forest through the trees, and walk alongside you through it.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in helping adults heal from trauma, chronic stress, and long-standing survival patterns. Many of the people I work with grew up navigating environments where safety, emotional support, or stability were inconsistent, and those experiences can continue to affect relationships, self-worth, and the nervous system well into adulthood. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and practical. I integrate trauma-informed methods such as EMDR, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation to help clients move beyond survival mode and reconnect with a stronger sense of self. Therapy with me is a collaborative process. Together we work at a pace that feels safe while building the insight, resilience, and self-trust needed for lasting change. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a powerful place to begin.

I’m Joseph Contes, but many call me “Joe”, and if you want you can too. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor, and founder of Crosscurrent Health. My approach to therapy is grounded, thoughtful, and collaborative, with a focus on helping people feel understood while building practical tools for lasting change. I work with children ages 8 and up, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, identity development, relationship concerns, and life transitions. Over the years, I have worked across a wide range of clinical settings including crisis services, emergency psychiatry, community mental health, correctional environments, and higher education. Those experiences have shaped the way I approach therapy today: calm, adaptable, and centered on meeting people where they are without judgment. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I believe therapy works best when it feels like a steady, genuine partnership rather than a one-size-fits-all process. My work integrates evidence-based approaches including CBT, CPT, TF-CBT, and family-focused interventions while remaining flexible to each person’s needs, strengths, and goals. I also provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care and strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences openly. At the heart of my work is the belief that growth happens when clarity meets support. Whether someone is working through past experiences, managing current stressors, or trying to reconnect with themselves and others, my goal is to help them move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and steadiness through life’s crosscurrents.

Peace. Happiness. Love. Success. We seek them. We want them. As we see them within reach, we are knocked down by the challenges and difficulties of life. We find, instead, lives that are filled with anxiety, sadness, grief, trauma, loss and failure. I know this too well. I have experienced this in my own life and in the life of my clients. It does not matter where you are in your life. I have had celebrity clients at the top of their field. I have worked with gold medal athletes. I have worked with businessmen and women, housewives, families, adolescents. I have also worked with those who have lost everything to the ravishes of substance use and with men serving life in prison. It is possible to navigate the dangerous waters of life, but you will need a guide. I am that guide. I have excellent education from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I have a wealth of experience. I have over three decades of experience as a husband, father, grandfather, youth pastor, counselor and university professor. I have worked in the church, private practice (in Florida and the Bahamas), community mental health (specializing in crisis and families with at-risk-adolescents), foster care, substance abuse, juvenile justice and the prisons. I have maintained my relevance by teaching at the university level, advising a best-selling author on the psychological aspects of his book, and serving as a consultant to other mental health agencies. I have wonderful experience working with anxiety, depression, anger, parenting issues, challenging children and teenagers, grief, trauma, substance use issues, family and relationship issues, LGBT issues, and other issues and concerns. I have helped my clients find peace with themselves, with others and in their situations. I have helped my clients find happiness, even amid loss. I have helped my clients find belonging and love in healthy and supportive relationships. I have helped my clients increase their ability to succeed by changing their thinking. One of the foundations of my life and my work was written by M. Scott Peck in The Road Less Travelled. He wrote, “Life is difficult. This is a great truth, one of the greatest truths… Life is a series of problems. Do we want to moan about them or solve them? Do we want to teach our children to solve them?” Let’s start today to solve some of life’s problems and to begin to grasp peace, happiness, love and success.

I strive to create a space where you can feel seen, heard, respected, and safe enough to be honest about what is really going on. At the same time, I will gently challenge you to recognize patterns, strengthen boundaries, build confidence, improve communication, and make choices that better reflect the life you want to create. I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to carrying everything on your own, being the strong one, or putting everyone else’s needs before your own. You do not have to arrive with the perfect words or a clear plan. We can slow things down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and identify realistic steps forward together. My ideal client is someone who is ready for support, insight, and meaningful change, even if they are unsure where to begin. Whether you are healing from a painful experience, adjusting to a major change, rebuilding trust, managing difficult emotions, or learning to reconnect with yourself, I will meet you with empathy, patience, authenticity, and respect. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and confident in your ability to move forward.

I am a licensed therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions, including divorce, separation, and shifts in identity or direction. I also support first responders who are managing chronic stress, burnout, and the emotional demands of high-intensity work, as well as individuals who are struggling with the transition into adulthood after high school and finding their footing in independence, relationships, and purpose. My style is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in helping you make sense of what you’re going through without judgment. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, even if they’re doing their best to keep things together on the outside. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, understand patterns, and begin creating more clarity and stability in your life. I integrate insight-oriented therapy with practical, evidence-based tools to help you build emotional awareness, improve coping skills, and make meaningful, sustainable change. You don’t need to have everything figured out to start—our work begins with where you are right now.

Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision, and I honor the courage it takes to begin this process. If we work together, you can expect a therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and respect. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are—no masks, no pressure—and begin to explore what healing and growth look like for you. My approach is thoughtful and tailored. I draw from evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy, adapting each session to meet your needs and goals. Whether you are navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I help you make sense of your experiences, strengthen emotional awareness, and find new ways to move forward. I believe therapy should not just be about coping—it should be about transformation. That might mean learning how to quiet an inner critic, setting healthier boundaries, deepening relationships, or reconnecting with your sense of purpose. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, and I will walk beside you each step of the way with compassion, curiosity, and care. If you are looking for a therapist who listens deeply, challenges gently, and is committed to helping you build a more grounded and empowered version of your life, I would be honored to work with you.

Hi. My name is Beth Marsh and I am a licensed mental health counselor living in Florida. I have been practicing since 2000. I have worked in community mental health, large private practices, small private practices, for a professional medicine department with a local university, fancy residential rehab, and as a case manager for a large insurance company. My clients have been diverse and run the gamut in socio-economic status. I enjoy working with most people. My favorite clients are the ones who are ready for a change in their life…no matter how big or small. I enjoy couples counseling with traditional and non traditional couples. I have had a lot of success with clients with anxiety and depression. Sometimes life throws a lot our way and you need a safe place to think, regroup and make a new plan. I can help with that! I am seminary educated and am a Christian, but you do not have to have the same belief system I do. I understand different cultures and religion and love diversity. In the end, we are all humans trying to do the best we can. If you are struggling with a relationship, anxiety, depression, self esteem or stage of life issues, reach out. You do not have to go it alone and there is hope. I am here.

Yes! If you use Blue Cross Blue Shield you’ll be asked to verify your Member ID at the time you book the appointment. However, if you don’t have Blue Cross Blue Shield you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
