I work with clients who frequently experience anxiety, depression, symptoms of ADHD, grief and self-esteem issues related to early trauma. Greetings Beloved Clients!
I am Pam C. Lyons, a Certified Professional Coach and Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor for 15 years, and 20 plus years of life experience. I understand what it means to reinvent and rebuild my life several times as a Hurricane Katrina Survivor and as a businesswoman.
My practice serves as a safe place to the Texas community and a beacon of light. The slogan “Reinvent the World” was inspired by all the shared traumatic experiences going on in the world due to Covid 19, increase in mental and physical health problems, racism, toxic politics, lack of safety for our children, poverty, economic challenges, women not receiving equal pay, women rights being infringed upon, and survivors of natural disasters. We need a space to express our traumatic experiences safely, to be listened to and understood with empathy and compassion, and to receive coping tools to become the best version of ourselves so we can create a better world for our future generations.

Are you searching for someone to listen to you? For many years, I have heard over and over, “Thank you, I have just been wanting someone to listen to me”. I have always felt led to just sit and listen when someone opens up and spills their heart to me.
I have been a licensed social worker since 1996, working with clients in healthcare settings and case management. In addition to being a licensed social worker, I completed graduate school and met a lifelong dream of becoming a licensed professional counselor in 2022. I have worked with the senior population in skilled, nursing, private homes, and inpatient physical rehabilitation for 30 years. This brought me to not only work directly with the senior population, but also their family members to provide the love and support needed to get through life's challenges and circumstances. I have gained experience in helping work through stress, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, job loss, marital problems, physical limitations, and/or disabilities, as well as long-term life-altering situations. I am a wife, a mother of two young adult children, a mother-in-law, a grandmother, a sister, and a daughter myself. My own life experiences help to ground me while supporting others.
I understand and know how family dynamics affect an individual’s physical and emotional health in all aspects of their daily lives. I am trauma-informed. I understand and realize that traumatic experiences (no matter when they happened in life) can follow us down the road when we don't even realize it is happening. Once a client understands how trauma affects their brain function and daily life, they can realize the power they have to make positive change in their lives, where before they may have felt stuck or powerless.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in South Carolina. I received my Masters from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and have been practicing for 10 years. I help adults struggling with anxiety and depression. My therapy approach is strength based, which focuses on finding the strength and wisdom within you. I use several different therapy models and techniques that are tailored to help you reach your goals.
My career started as a classroom teacher and school counselor. I currently have over 20 years of experience working with students and families. In addition to my school counseling career, I am a crisis clinician in a major hospital in the DFW metroplex and work in over 32 emergency rooms providing on-call patient care. We all face unexpected challenges which sometimes leave us feeling hopeless and powerless. I believe that we have the ability to make healthy and appropriate choices regardless of the circumstances in which we may find ourselves. My role as a therapist is to assist and support clients as they learn new ways of coping and adjusting to life’s challenges. Counseling will vary depending upon one’s personality, stage of life, strengths or particular concern. Getting started can feel overwhelming. You have no idea where to even begin. You’ve been putting off therapy because you’re afraid it won’t help. More than anything you’d like to be able to feel happy again. You’d like to be able to put yourself out there more and to create deeper, more meaningful relationships with others. You want to have the courage to be your authentic self without hiding behind a mask.
Hello, I'm M.L.
I believe as humans we all want something similar, to feel normal. We want, desire, and try our best to feel like everyone else. Yet, simultaneously we desire to be unique, special, and individualistic. I believe it is necessary to think of humans as puzzle pieces in order to fulfill both. While the pieces share the same geographical space as well as have the same manufacturer, they are unique and serve varying purposes. Do you belong at the top but are content being a side piece? Are you on the bottom when you were meant to be at the center of it all? Let's collaborate and find out where you belong. You may discover the only thing wrong was where you (as a puzzle piece) tried to fit in.
In therapy, I collaborate with the expert on the client (you), identify obstacles, and come up with strategies for working toward your goals. I do this by first remaining curious about you as a client as well as your perspective of the issue. I serve to remind clients that everything in life does not have to feel good in order to end with good results.
You can't fix something that you don’t see. In a world of selfies no one is willing to look at any angle that doesn’t compliment their cuteness. What if you could see your truest self? The natural, emotional, relational, and spiritual you through a 3-way full body mirror. Imagine what would be possible. Good therapy, is a mirror into your soul.

I see therapy as a collaborative process. I will meet you without judgment and we will figure out together what feels helpful. If something is not working, we can adjust. If something is working, we can build on it. You do not have to fit yourself into a specific way of doing therapy because we shape the process around you.
While I have a lot of experience working with people who have ADHD, ADD, and autism, I don’t provide formal evaluations or prescribe medication. I am also unable to write Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters.
Although this platform offers the option for me to utilize AI to take notes, I opt out and will continue to do so. I will not ever utilize AI for your care when given the choice.
