I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticy, and practical support. I provide a safe, affirming, and judgment free space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and personal goals. I work well with those experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, self esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and identity exploration. I also help those that are LGBTQ+ . My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to each client's unique needs, helping them build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful lasting change. Whether you're working through a difficult season, seeking healthier relationships, or striving for personal growth, I'm committed to walking alongside you every step of the way.
Introduction of ourselves, having completed the measures, discuss boundaries. We will discuss the "why now" regarding the primary stressors or symptoms that prompted to seek therapy. A discussion about background, support system, and any past therapy experiences. This will be done at your pace and don't feel pressure to disclose everything right away. This is your safe zone and I am here to listen and to ask questions that will help me and you to navigate this experience together. Finally, we will discuss setting short and long term goals and what a good plan looks like for you to be successful.
I am one that I follow the lead of the client after establishing the "why now" "stressors etc." and what it is requested or needed while navigating this counseling experience. I provide a listening space to actually hear and listen to the client and provide information based on whats given. Safe space for you to share and feel comfortable.
