As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Supervisor, I have over 10 years of experience treating mental health issues. My background includes inpatient, outpatient, and individual therapy. Also, I have worked in the medical field as a BSN RN and feel comfortable treating individuals with physical conditions. I am based in Texas and have licenses in Washington and DC. I have worked with children to geriatrics.

I picked Safia Omar for my therapist because of her health care background. I felt that I would connect with her, and she would be able to relate to my concerns. She was very understanding to my concerns, told me upfront her treatment style and if I do not feel comfortable she would suggest someone, which gives me a choice. She listens without interrupting, and comes up with a solution.
