Elizabeth Anderson LPC-Intern. Elizabeth is an agent of change that operates as a License Professional Counselor. She works with families, adults, children, and adolescents who struggle with a myriad of emotional debilitating disorders. If you struggle with previous or current trauma, disorders associated with depression, anxiety, ADHD, Grief, or just experiencing challenges with adjusting to change she is the ideal person to help. I strive to provide healthy alternatives for individuals suffering from self-esteem issues, cognitive distortions, addictions, marital discord, or recent divorce. I am committed to detailing the rudimentary causes that negatively affect everyday living. In efforts to minimize dysfunctional patterns of behavior, I implement a holistic approach to address the various areas that contribute to mental instability. I am versed in integrated therapy, cognitive behavioral, solution-based brief focused therapy, mindfulness, and other modalities that are utilized as needed.
I provide clients with a clearer perspective of their current predicament. We explore together various approaches to minimize emotional distress. In time the goal is to equip the client with the tools needed to address the challenges in their life. In addition, clients walk away feeling empowered and confident in their own abilities to maneuver through obstacles with a clearer perspective and a healthier mental state.
Over the years I've served children and adolescents in finding their significance and value. I've been affective in creating stronger bonds between parent and child while addressing the dysfunctional patterns in families as whole. I am experienced in assisting families who foster or care for children from hard places. I've efficiently served several individuals who suffer from anxiety and other fear-based behaviors. In addition, I've had success in walking couples through uncovering hidden factors that prevent marital cohesiveness.
Couples, Marriage, Men, Women, Children ages 13-18.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy addresses the negative automatic thoughts that influence our emotional state and inadvertently affect how we behave. I use this technique to make clients aware of the difference between irrational and rational thought. The client is then empowered to better manage thoughts that rob them of the peace and joy they want to experience.
I utilize this method to empower the client to recognize the answers that lie within. I come along side my clients in a partnership to help them uncover areas of their life where they are ready to process emotions and address the painful parts that inhibit overall life satisfaction.

Elizabeth has helped me to recognize my patterns of behavior and tools to address them in real time. I appreciate her holistic approach to care. I’m definitely on a path to wholeness with her help. She is open-minded, direct (calls at as she sees it, lovingly), relatable, gives me lots to chew on, and allows me to move at my pace.

Very warm and welcoming it was our first session couples counseling but am looking forward to more sessions. We've already booked again for another session.. Mrs. Anderson seems knowledgeable while still making us feel comfortable.

Today was my last session with Mrs. Anderson. I could scream from a rooftop about how grateful I am of her. Finding a therapist that is right for you can be hard but God truly knew what he was doing when I ran across her profile. Mrs. Anderson has given me the tools that are helping me navigate becoming the best version of myself , loving myself and figuring out who I am as WOC experiencing life transitions. I recommend her to anyone who is ready to put in the work and make the necessary changes
