My name is LaToya and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Houston, TX . I work with adults who are ready to do the deep, honest work of healing, people who have spent years feeling like they were not enough, shrinking themselves to keep the peace, and carrying wounds from childhood that were never theirs to carry in the first place. I also work with parents who are ready to break generational patterns. Not because they were bad parents, but because they are brave enough to become better than their own.
My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and rooted in helping clients understand the connection between their mind and body. Often, our thoughts, emotions, and physical responses tell a deeper story about our experiences. Together, we will explore those patterns in a safe and supportive space, helping you build insight, resilience, and practical tools for lasting change. My goal is not simply symptom relief, but empowerment — so you can better understand yourself, respond rather than react, and move forward with confidence and clarity.

A percentage of my free time is devoted to causes that reflect my passions and clinical interests including all aspects of psychology, health and wellness, and self-improvement.

Hi, I'm Julie Este-McDonald — a Licensed Professional Counselor, Executive Coach, and doctoral candidate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology who researches burnout. I'm passionate about helping people heal, grow, and reconnect with who they are beneath the weight of everything they've been carrying.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, PTSD, life transitions, and the quiet exhaustion that comes from constantly holding it all together. I have a particular heart for women — and especially Black women — who are managing the layered demands of high achievement, caregiving, leadership, and everything in between.
My approach is trauma-informed and attachment-aware, meaning I pay close attention not just to what you're experiencing, but to how your history has shaped the way you move through the world. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you examine the thought patterns influencing how you see yourself and others, and I bring warmth, honesty, and practical tools to every session.
For clients who want faith to be part of the conversation, I'm also equipped to hold that space. With a post-graduate certificate in Pastoral Counseling, I support clients integrating spirituality into their healing — as well as those deconstructing or reimagining their relationship with faith altogether, including those navigating religious trauma.
Whether you're brand new to therapy or returning to go deeper, my goal is simple: to create a space where you feel safe, genuinely seen, and supported in building a life that feels as good on the inside as it may already look on the outside.

Hello, I am Margie,
Do you ever feel like there is not enough time in the day? Are you increasingly feeling off (meaning, that you know something is going on that is causing a disconnect but you are not sure what it is)?
I assist people with finding/repairing their focus on what is most important to them in order to avoid/lessen burnout. Together we can identify what is not working and develop a plan for how to address the areas of disconnection. Together we will work as a partnership to develop strategies to create "a present and future that makes you feel more fulfilled." In addition to focusing on the mind, body soul connection, I also integrate mindfulness, music and art to help you improve yourself.
Throughout life's twists and turns, I am here to help. Seeking therapy is a huge step and for various reasons, many people do not. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can take ownership of "what I want, what I need and where I want to go."
After many years of exploring a variety of jobs I finally began to focus on assisting others in this adventure called "life ." As an adult. I began serving through Christian ministry and then realized I was even more fulfilled in working more specifically in the wider field of mental health. After getting both master's and a doctoral degree in mental health, I worked in clinical settings, counseling centers, crisis centers, my own private practice , and university settings. While managing my own counseling center, I also served several years teaching graduate students in the areas of counseling and psychology. My joy comes from helping others regain control of life when cognitions, emotions, and behaviors have caused distress. We do not always understand the "why" of life experiences, however we can gain mastery of our thinking, feeling, and doing and continue to enhance functioning and happiness.

I am a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth therapist who believes therapy works best when clients feel genuinely safe, heard, and understood. I strive to create a space where people can show up as they are without feeling judged, rushed, or expected to have everything figured out.
My approach is rooted in connection and collaboration. While I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic and nervous-system-informed techniques, and trauma-informed care into my work, I primarily work from a person-centered perspective, meaning I tailor therapy to each individual rather than taking a rigid or one-size-fits-all approach.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who may be navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, stress, or self-esteem struggles. Many of my clients are thoughtful, sensitive, high-functioning people who are used to carrying a lot internally and are looking for both practical support and a deeper understanding of themselves.
I believe healing often begins with having a space where you no longer feel like you have to hold everything together alone. My goal is to help clients feel supported while building insight, confidence, emotional resilience, and meaningful change in their lives.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities through a wide range of life challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2008, after completing my Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology in 2004. My academic journey also includes two years at Florida State University and an Addictions Certificate from the University of Michigan, which I received in 2015.
After graduating, I returned to my hometown of Detroit, Michigan, where I became licensed and began practicing as a social worker. Throughout my career, I have worked as a therapist, crisis manager, and adjunct professor; roles that have allowed me to develop a well-rounded, real-world understanding of the issues people face in everyday life.
My work has been guided by a strong commitment to strengthening both interpersonal and intrapersonal awareness as a pathway to meaningful change. I believe that growth happens when individuals feel understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life’s complexities. Through my work with individuals and families across the lifespan, I strive to approach each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect, supporting emotional, mental, and physical well-being at every stage of human development.
You've probably spent a long time waiting: waiting to feel ready, waiting for permission, waiting until things get "bad enough" to deserve support. That wait ends here.
I'm Nicole Obih, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 8+ years of experience across inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings. I am a seasoned counselor familiar with adolescents, issues of personal development, empowerment, issues about personal power, overcoming fear, and identifying values. I value honesty, courage, self-actualization and altruism. I have worked almost exclusively with males. I see the world from a male perspective because that's the point of view I have experienced life through. I have spent years in the gym. I am a musician, and I play out somewhere every week.
There are a few high-stakes, difficult life situations I want to address here: If you are afraid of your child setting a fire, trying to get a gun, or stealing from you in plain sight, reach out. If your child is being bullied, I might be able to help him to acquire the skills necessary to hold his own in life. Finally, if you or a family member is being stalked or threatened by someone, I may be able to professionally assess the danger.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in central Texas. I believe that we are all beings who want healing in all aspects of our life: physical, emotional, social and spiritual.
The differences between the emotional health we have and the health we want can create tension between our current situation and our self image and power. Often, we don't know how to make lasting changes. That change struggle can be too difficult to face without strong support and the realization someone understands, supports and affirms your ability to learn new coping skills.
My counseling approach is educational, and we begin with where you are emotionally now. I value treating everyone with respect and kindness. We move at your pace. I will assign homework if you want to move more quickly.

Clients often tell me they feel deeply seen and understood in our work together. My approach combines warmth, insight, and practical strategies so that therapy not only helps you understand your experiences more clearly, but also feel more confident and grounded in everyday life.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults navigating anxiety, stress, trauma-related challenges, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I provide a welcoming, professional, and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly process challenges, build healthier coping strategies, strengthen boundaries, improve emotional regulation, and work toward meaningful, lasting growth and balance.
Therapy, to me, is about real human connection—about creating a space where you can show up fully, without judgment or pressure to be anything other than who you are right now. I see therapy as a collaborative process of curiosity, growth, and healing, where we work together to understand the patterns that shape your life and uncover what’s possible beyond them.
My goal is to make every session a space where you feel deeply seen, understood, and supported. Whether you’re navigating personal transitions, relationships, trauma, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself, I’m here to help you explore your experiences in ways that feel authentic, compassionate, and empowering. I work with individuals, couples, families, and teens from all walks of life, and I’m especially passionate about fostering a safe, inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds, identities, and stories.
