Also, working closely with prosecutors and private attorneys, she has served as both a fact and expert witness in numerous civil and criminal trials related to abuse and custody.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During my first session, I review the limitations of confidentiality and give a brief overview of my therapy style. Then we explore the reasons for seeking therapy and the client's personal goals for therapy. Lastly, I try to leave each and every client with a sense of hope that things can get better.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a safe, non-judgmental environment in which my clients can thrive. I believe in the innate goodness and worth of all my clients and, as a result, am able to capitalize on each person's unique strengths. I am known to be insightful allowing me to quickly home in on the core issues which often has the effect of reducing the overall time needed in therapy. I teach simple skills which are easy to apply to life's everyday challenges. I keep therapy conversational and informal, yet thought-provoking. I respect the autonomy of my clients to make their own decisions while offering them continual support and validation.
